They came to check she was ok, got her water, found her a paper bag to breathe into (they thought it would be useful), and when we sat in the car to await my step dad (I don't drive, mum was driving), they even brought out more water and checked we were ok. A really helpful place indeed. On the clothes front - they stock Rogers & Rogers stuff!!! Hooray!! sadly not enough of the larger sizes in the items I like whenever I go in lol. Only downside to their stock seems to be that although they know when they're getting a delivery, they never know what will be on the truck, so they can't tell you if they'll get any more of the top you want in the size you want. Also, they can't order from other stores so that's a bit of a pain too. Overall though, gotta give em 5 stars for their help today, I really do!

I find the sizes are a bit 'off' - maybe it's because I'm bigger below than on top, but I find my dress doesn't stay up very well despite being the size I normally wear. Still, it came with a detachable halterneck strap - all situations covered. The quality is excellent - I've had it several years now without problems. The only downside is that everything is so expensive! I would love to own so many things in here, but I really can't justify it. Definitely worth checking out during the sales, but it's worth getting there quickly, as I'm sure they're popular!

I've bought several from Coast for balls and parties, and have never received so many compliments about my outfit! I felt like a princess! I really cannot recommend this shop highly enough. But if you can, and you're looking for clothing of excellent quality and unusual design, East is the place to go. (Their sales make even their most luxurious items affordable, so it's always worth venturing in during a sale at least.) They particularly specialise in what can best be described as 'hippy clothes for middle-aged women', but also have a great range of nice summer clothing, posh frocks, casual knitwear, and office-friendly outfits. The designs are often bright - vivid pink, turquoise, scarlet - or patterned, the fabrics are rich and tempting - lots of silk and velvet - and styles generally fit up to a size 20 comfortably (labelled 18 but usually worth trying on if you're slightly bigger). It's the top end of the high street, in many ways, but every new collection has a few lower-priced items, and I think anyone in need of a wardrobe boost or a special occasion outfit should consider it.

It's quite expensive, but similar to somewhere like Marks and Spencers or Monsoon for the basic items.
