Warren did a great job restoring my cherry wood kitchen cabinets that got dinged up. He was efficient I would highly recommend his services.

Boohoo...a foot post on a four poster bed was damaged by a visitor. Woohoo!...Furniture Medic Warren Winitzky fixed it this week to be better than new. Better because part of the reason for the damage to begin with was rooted in a small construction error by the furniture maker. And not only did Warren fix and refinish the wood on the bed to look as if the damage had never happened, he took apart the post to find the underlying weakness and fixed that too. It gets better still. Because Warren was easy to contact, he was able to make the appointment to come look at the bed within a day or two, he called ahead to ask if it was possible to arrive early (more woohoo) and his price for the great work he did was very reasonable. I learned Warren does the repair and finishing work for furniture and woodwork at a well known Central Oregon resort. It's easy to see why they trust him to do that. He also does refinishing work on cabinetry, woodwork and furniture for interior design professionals (who can be particular folks) as well as for homeowners and business owners. One more woohoo worthy comment - Warren uses environmentally friendly products! We're going to need some refinishing done on home office built ins next year. Let me just say that Warren, owner of Furniture Medic, is a wonderful person and very talented and skilled carpenter. He knows his stuff! I have a very old, oak, roll top desk that's over 150 years old. It was damaged in a recent out of state move. The desk is an antique made by hand. Warren picked up my desk during a holiday to help me out since my family and I had out of town visitors and needed the space. I could not be happier with the quality and skill of the work done. My cherished antique desk actually looks better now than it did before the move and it was in excellent condition back then. The "medic" was such a wizard with our broken Alm's box! We have an antique Alm's box that had a horrible accident. One of the chains on the side was ripped out, and a chunk of wood came with it. The Medic fixed it and it's flawless. I now have two additional pieces that need work done and you bet I'm calling the Furniture Medic!! read more

I didn't want another bed I wanted this one fixed and fixed it is. Can not thank Warren enough this bed is important to us. I wish I took a photo of my table before Peter worked his wonders on it. Peter repaired a piece at the base that was broken by the movers. He also sanded down some scratches and gave a coat of (varnish?/paint?) It was so lovely after he was done, I was almost speechless. This was my Mom's table and it has sentimental value to me.
