This is a worst place I ever been. They don't deserve even a single star. I had very bad experience with them. They never available if you need them. I bought leather sofa and love seat from them with five years protection plan. After few months leather peeling down. When I call them for help they told me to talk with owner name Mike which is never available for you. This guy is always stepped out. After couple of months harassment I have been told that the insurance company has been closed so that can't do anything. So please don't spend even a single penny on this place. It's really quite sad. This is the "parent" company. My purchase was made at the Harlem store. I bought a chest of drawers. Before I bought, I confirmed that delivery on Saturdays was available. I work M-F, and can't be home to receive the delivery during the week. Saturday delivery was confirmed, so I purchased my dresser, and was told I would have it in 5-7 days. That was May 16th. Here we are, 2 1/2 weeks later, and I am still waiting for my delivery. Oh, it's at the warehouse or whatever in Jamaica, but they only do Saturday deliveries if there's enough to fill their truck, and in my area. If there's either less than 15 items minimum to deliver, or if the deliveries are all in a different area, then they don't deliver on Saturdays. The reps in the delivery department are extremely rude and unprofessional. The building I live in requires proof of insurance for movers or furniture deliveries, in case there's damage to the building. When I asked if they had this, her response was "You have GOT to be kidding me!!" Um, yeah... I had nothing better to do with my time that to punk you! LOL!!! Anyway, I ended up having to wait until after Memorial Day to get that straightened out. I spoke to the manager (Mike) on Tuesday and he assured me that in his +20 years, no one has ever asked for that. Hmm, I guess that means I don't need that info after all! Whether it's a first time request or a standard request, either you have the documentation or you don't. So now we move on to the Saturday issue. Mike confirmed that pretty much, if I wanted a Saturday delivery, I would have to wait around indefinitely, until they could fill a truck with Harlem-area deliveries. How can you have, in black-and-white on the receipt, "OUR ONLY DELIVERY TIME MONDAY - SATURDAY 11 AM - 7 PM" and NOT deliver on Saturdays????? His solution: refund me the delivery fee and pick up the item myself. UM, if i had a truck or whatever, wouldn't you think I'd have saved myself the delivery fee and this headache, and picked it up myself already???? Besides that, Mike actually said "I'm as high up the ladder as you can get. What I say goes." Really dude? You have a really high opinion of yourself... guess you need to since probably no one else does. So, then I called the actual furniture store on West 125th St., where I purchased the item. Low and behold, 10 minutes later, I get a call from Brian at the West 125th location to confirm that I am scheduled for Saturday delivery between 11 am and 1 pm. Hooray! SO, now I have to call the idiot back at the delivery department to get the proof of insurance. Anna tells me to get it from Brian. EVEN THOUGH Brian works in sales and obviously had to jack someone up to get the delivery scheduled... he doesn't have this info. This idiot does! It amazes me how little customer service there is anymore. The people at the furniture store itself were very polite, apologetic for my difficulties dealing with the delivery department, etc. But the actual delivery department is filled from top to bottom with idiots. Sadly, I could almost recommend that if you have a truck and could bypass the delivery department, to shop here. However, I know that I personally will not give any future business to this establishment. read more

Don't waste your money, total rip off! Furniture was rusty, scratch, missing pieces, and when I called after delivery and demanded a refund. Sohan was very rude with his answer of there's no refund and redirected me to a customer service number, which lead me to speaking too Mandy who says things just to satisfy you at the moment and hope you forget. When comforted she try to bill out by telling you I'll call you back about this matter. They won't even replace damaged items although you received it in that condition... read more

You wrote a review for furniture zone 6 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 5/24/2018 I purchased a closet, when it was delivered, it was broken, parts were missing and even though i paid for set up, they dropped it off and ran off. Service was horrible. After many calls, in 3 different occasions they said they would come and fix my 4 issues and the 3 times they didn't show up. Worse service and experience ever. AVOIDD THIS PLACE!!! It's unfortunate when you're trying to make an investment in furniture and get ripped off in the process. I ordered my furniture 12/21/2013 and was supposed to get it delivered by 12/24/2013. I never received a delivery...after constant phone calls I was finally told that the furniture was in California and I should receive it within a week or two. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING! When I told them I was unsatisfied and wanted my money back, I was told that I had to speak with the boss Mike. Unfortunately, Mike was on vacation so I was forced to wait. I disputed the charge with my bank in which Furniture Zone lied and said they delivered the furniture. When asked for proof they switched their story and said they were willing to compromise by charging me a 25% cancellation fee. Im in the process of taking them to court to get the money back for the cancellation fee. Here comes the big surprise when I went to serve them court papers the store is now closed. Understand that if you invest in this company you will insure nothing but headaches and unprofessionalism. They're crooks and willing to go to the extreme to take anyone's money.... read more

HORRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are crooks selling broken furniture. PLEASE CONTACT THE BBB IF YOU HAVE HAD A POOR EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. I bought a chair from them, that promptly broke two days after regular use. I called the store to see what could be done, thinking they would be amenable given that I was obviously given a defective piece of furniture. The salesperson yelled at me, said I was "jumping on the chair," and hung up on me. I called back and he then offered to send me a handyman that they use who would know the parts but, I would have to pay full price for the repair and parts! I complained to the BBB, and the manager Mike sent a response that was a complete lie about the situation. He said they offered to send me replacement parts, NEVER happened. Very bad service. The female rep from the delivery department is extremely rude and obnoxious, she hangs up the phone and does not allow for you to speak.No one communicates from each department between one another. Also..watch out for Dennis the salesman. He will tell you that you can get a delivery on one day and the delivery department will tell you that they are booked for the next couple of days..are you that desperate for a sale that you would screw someone over by telling them to that they will have their merchandise just to make money and when you do you treat your customers like crap right after. Worse experience of my entire life. Never delivered my furniture as promised which left me without furniture for 3 days. My salesperson Kenny was completely useless. The supervisor Kenny hasn't returned any of my calls that I have made in the last 3 weeks. They now want to charge me a 20% restocking fee that they didn't calculate the correct way, because they failed to delivery as promised. I bought a Zander sofa table (still awaiting its arrival at its warehouse).This was more than 2 weeks ago.The CSR at the store told me it would take about 1 week to pick up at the warehouse .After repeated calls to the branch on Jamaica Ave I was told it was at the warehouse for pickup.I went last Friday Feb 08 & was rudely told by CSR agent on the phone that it was not there & I should come for it Monday..This is the 3rd week now & I am still waiting for this item as it has not arrived for pickup. My complaints are the lack of coordination between the stores & the warehouse also the poor & abrupt manners of the CSR staff at the warehouse.I would not recommend this company to anyone to do business with. read more

This furniture place is a joke. They are not professional, they are liars, and are the biggest fraud ever!!! I ordered a sofa set from their Jamaica Warehouse, and when I received the delivery, it was the wrong sofa and now they refuse to take back the sofa. As of now, I am still stuck with this sofa and I can't get in touch with anyone to take it back, it's unbelievable!! Not only that, they sold me the sofa saying it it's an Ashley Furniture set, but the one that came is not Ashley Furniture. I warn everyone, do not do not DO NOTTT buy from these people.
