I shipped it back to them via USPS and even payed for shipping insurance due to the value of the coat. I called the day it was scheduled to arrive to confirm it's safe delivery. The woman who answered the phone said she didn't see it anywhere yet but it would likely turn up soon and they'd get started on the alterations when it did. Fast forward over a month later; I call to see how the alterations are going, but come to find out, they claimed to have never actually received the $1000 coat I sent back to them... USPS claims the package was delivered and Boho claimed to never have received it...I spent several weeks on the phone with several USPS representatives trying to track down where it could to no avail. Unfortunately this was near the end of shipping insurance coverage period so not only did I lose the coat, but USPS would NOT insure my package. Not only did I lose the coat, but USPS also would NOT honor the travel insurance I purchased. My partner surprised me with an ethereal Boho Coat, custom made with all my favorite colors to kick off my first music festival season and Burning Man. It fit me like a glove and made me feel like Queen Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons. In going with another friend to get her first Boho Coat, I got to play in the showroom with all the different furs and fabrics, like a kid in a candy store. Many of the faux fur looked and felt real. The numerous combinations of fur with lining of patterns or sequins, as well as the different style and cut options, definitely results in analysis paralysis unless one has an unlimited budget. [There are much more fur/fabric/lighting options and pre-made combinations available in the showroom to help visualize how a custom coat would look.] I also love the principles and business practices of Boho Coats to support not only cruelty-free, animal-friendly industry but also employee-friendly workplace. While I am already mentally designing my next Boho Coat inspired by Cleopatra, I will always have a special fondness for my first Boho Coat, as it is infused with lots of love and high vibration energy from Katya and my partner. They asked us to wait outside until they had someone available to help us out, which is understandable. there were 2 older ladies waiting with us. After a min they let us in and someone greeted us at the door. We went our way. As you go in, on the right hand side they have a "stage" with a piano in the middle (this is a step high) one of the older ladies did not see that step, tripped and fell onto the stage. Which is definitely a hazard. The owner comes out furious from his office yelling at the employee and asking why was she trying to go on the stage. The employee was trying to explain that she tripped on accident. At this point, I'm very upset. The owner does not care if the lady is ok, if she is hurt. nothing at all! all he cares is about his damn stage. I jump in and suggest maybe they should have a sing to watch their step to prevent this from happening again. his response "was I talking to you" - in a rude tone! I said, "no, but I work in customer service and I know about customer care. Instead of you checking to see if the lady is ok, you're worried about your floor!" Instead of going back to check to see if the customer was ok he told me " TO GET OUT OF HIS STORE!" I will never do business with someone that doesn't care about anyone but himself!
