One of the best blueberry fritters I've ever had! The blueberry flavor was spot on, and the texture was perfectly moist and airy--definitely a standout. The apple fritter was just okay. It had a nice apple flavor, but it was more dense and a bit dry, and overall a little too sweet for my taste. I also tried the steak with chimichurri--the steak itself was cooked really well, but the chimichurri was just average. On the sweeter side, I really enjoyed the blackberry donut with sprinkles. Their lattes are also a highlight--I love the quality of their coffee beans, and you can really taste the difference. The space itself is great too--lots of seating, reliable WiFi, and a perfect spot to get work done or catch up with friends. When we went in the evening, my cousin ordered a watermelon margarita and said it was strong (in a good way!) with great flavor and presentation. Everyone who works there is super nice--great customer service all around, which really adds to the experience. The owner is awesome and always remembers me whenever I come in. Overall, a great spot with some standout items--I'd definitely come back for that blueberry fritter and latte alone. read more

I saw on a review that they have dog donuts here and I got really excited as I love spoiling my fur babies. I wasn't sure if that meant they allowed dogs so I called and asked and I was put on a brief hold as there was a rush when I called but luckily Cameron did not forget about me and checked to see if I was still there, she was very pleasant and polite with me and ensured that I had no other questions or concerns. My boyfriend and I were looking for a spot that allowed dogs, had a free Wi-Fi, and a space to study and Fusion Cafe and Lounge had all of that and more. Parking was a lot harder to find than we thought as there was no reviews that talked about having trouble with parking but that's if you're lucky. We only were able to find one spot that was open around 1:30pm on a Wednesday. Once we arrived, we saw the beautiful and photogenic space. The lighting here was great and perfect for those wanting to read, study or do anything. I love the amount of chairs and tables that they had and there was a cute spot that had a bunch of outlets. We were also greeted by Cameron when we entered, and all customers who entered afterwards were greeted with the same warm greeting too. We were trying to figure out what we wanted as there are quite a bit of options for drinks, donuts, and other offerings they have. They also have several different bottled and canned drinks. Cameron was patient with us and offered suggestions for us and when she saw our dogs, she recognized me as the caller and she knew that I wanted to get a dog donut. I was mentioning to her that our picky girl dog only enjoys her snacks small as she is very cautious with new treats and Cameron not only went above and beyond with splitting the donut for our two dogs but also chopped up the half for our girl dog smaller. My boyfriend got a white chocolate mocha, sugar twist and Nilla wafer donut. Now as I was ordering a lotus drink, I asked for blood orange and Cameron asked if I would like to try a lotus that tasted like a Sweet Tart with blood orange, pomegranate and their sour gummy candy (never seen this flavor anywhere else). I took a sip and forgot to give my boyfriend a sip because it was as she described but in liquid form. The combination was absolutely stellar! Their white chocolate mocha was so good and better than most coffee places! The donuts here were the perfect texture and sweetness, not excessive or barely there. We are already talking about coming back for our next study date. Cameron also informed us that on weekends they offer gluten-free and vegan donuts too! read more

What a cool concept- cocktails and donuts! We were out with friends and it was about 10pm and craving something sweet! We found that Fusion Cafe & Lounge was open downtown! It's located in the old Dancing Goat Coffee by Camp Colvos. Really cute ambiance. A doughnut were pretty picked over when we arrived but still had a great selection. I did not try the cocktails, but we each tried a few donuts and that they were delicious. You order at the counter for service and then there's a large amount of seating to choose from. I tried the toasted coconut, vanilla doughnut- delicious! This place really hit the spot after a night of enjoying drinks! read more

I like the idea of the place. Execution.. I need to try again a little earlier in the day. I had the impression this was a late night munchies bar and went with excitement for evening donuts. But it was more of a donuts by day and drinks by night establishment. There were only a few donuts left to choose from.. maybe about 9pm? Drinks were fine, but my memory isn't great on that. So my overall impression was 3-4 stars.. and I'll try them again sometime closer to 6pm and see if it's different. read more

I have to admit, I have a hard time passing Fusion an not stopping. It's favorite donut shop outside of all the pastries in Paris. All the donuts I've tried, and I try a new one everytime I visit, have been excellent. They have breakfast croissants now so it will be a trip, maybe tomorrow morning, to try one. I have to say, I love their fritters and fortunately, got the last one today at 2:30 pm. In fact, there wasn't much left at 2:30 but the Blueberry Fritter was cooked perfectly. The gentleman behind the counter is always welcoming friendly , and ready to help you pick out some great donuts. I'm so impressed with Fusion, I'm changing my reviews to five stars now. I really love this place so much. I go to school near by and I go here a few times a week and each time they are absolutely lovely and they make me feel so loved and welcome. (They even celebrated my birthday). The overall vibe in here is so great. I love the music they play and it's the best place for studying or just getting work done. Not to even mention the food here. oh my gosh the donuts are so good. And for drinks I always get a RedBull spritzer with peach and mango and it's my favorite drink of all time. Visited on a Thursday night at around 9 pm and the place was empty. They used to be open until 11 pm on weekday nights, but looking at Google, they changed their hours until 8 pm. We were looking for some donuts and non- alcoholic drinks to sober ourselves before we head out on the road. Around this time, only a few variety of donuts were available, but we were able to make do with the ones left. They have an extensive cocktail menu and were able to accomodate the menu to make a couple drinks nonalcoholic. Overall, we recommend! Service was super slow, ordered a flavored latte, drip coffee (self serve) and one donut. It took them over 20 minutes to make my latte. My husband was done with his coffee and donut before I even got my latte. They had 4 people working and not that busy. They need to work on organization skills and better customer service. When we walked in, we were immediately impressed by the decor and customer service. The staff greeted us and told us if we have any questions, to let them know. We looked over the donut case and saw some unique flavors and one donut (can't recall the name) that they're known for. So we got an assortment and they were all delicious and fresh. The donut cafe turns into a night time food and drinks bar in the evening so we'll definitely be back to try that service. We came across this place when we were driving past, and immediately tried it the following morning due to the stellar reviews. Fortunately, the reviews did not lie! The shop is large and very well decorated. I was very impressed by their large selection of donut flavors. I ended up getting a maple bacon bar, blueberry lavender donut, and guava filled donut. Their donuts are excellent - very light and fluffy. The maple bacon bar met my expectations in terms of flavor. The blueberry lavender was a let down because the flavors didn't come through and it was just a sweet donut. I was pleasantly surprised by the guava filled donut. Often times, filled donuts can be way too sweet. The guava filling was not cloyingly sweet and is one that I would consider getting again. I'd love to come back to try more flavors, and would recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a sweet treat. read more

Came across this place when I was on my way to Camp colvos next door. I got myself a Butterfinger chocolate donut which was really good, the best part of this place is, they also serve boots here. Fusion Cafe & Lounge has some very good donuts! It's where Dancing Goats Coffee used to be and so it's great to see that space getting used again within a fairly short time span. We have had donuts from here twice now and each time was quite good! The first time around we split a pink frosted donut and had a pistachio frosted donut and a kind of crumble donut with a cinnamon slant to it. Out of that first visit I liked the first two the best and they became instant favorites. The second trip I got the Horchata flavored donut... okay... add a third to the favorite list. I do love Horchata and this donut definitely did it justice! I also got a Vanilla Coconut Donut which was great too! Steve got a sugared twist and a berry frosted donut and those were very good as well! So glad this donut shop opened up as everyone is very friendly and pleasant and the donuts are awesome... it's also very nice that it's so close to home! read more

Just left after getting a blueberry and apple fritter, and mango tajin and lavender blueberry donuts. First, the people are super welcoming and friendly. There are so many donuts with a variety of flavors and the best glazing I've ever had. They make the glazing with fruit that matches the donut flavor so it's not overly sweet and it hardens a little making it a nice contrast to the delicious softness of the donut. Edit: came back the next morning to get more. This time we came with the kid and sat down at the bar. Everything is just as we remember. Just as good. The seats are comfy and my fav colors so I'm biased. There's plenty of high top tables, booths, and couches to chill on. Oh AND they have breakfast sandwiches if your sweet tooth has been satisfied. We've been here a couple times in the AM since they opened and enjoyed every experience! Every single person who works here has been nothing but kind and sweet. Service has always been relatively quick for us. We've tried a couple of the donuts and all have been super good, not too overpowering in flavor or sweetness and the bread (?) / actual donut part is always fluffy and chewy. The interior has always been clean and friendly and the selection is plentiful. Excited to see them grow. read more

Me and my family have loved this place so much! Unfortunately they changed their delivery area and no longer will deliver to my area. I usually get a maple bar but the owner recommended their specialty crunchy donut that is my absolute favorite now. Very disappointed. A coworker brought some donuts in (we work at a bakery) and we were all excited after hearing good things. I as a pastry chef, was horribly disappointed. I tried the matcha, guava, and maple bacon donuts. There was no matcha flavor at all, the guava honestly tasted like sweet jam but what type I couldn't tell you, and the maple bacon was ok.
