Called to cancel and get a refund. Manager tells me that since the food was made they can not refund. Their website says that they serve not only Japanese foods but also Singaporean, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Thai foods. Please see my attached photos for the menu from January 2024. I think that most of the foods are Japanese, and I see some foods that are Chinese or Thai. This particular restaurant in Washington has a dining area, hibachi tables, and a sushi bar. During my visit, a seating hostess kindly greeted my husband and me and promptly seated us at our choice of booth. Soon, our courteous waiter arrived, gave us menus, and then took our orders. The chefs made our foods in a short amount of time. At the end of the meal, the bill cost us $89 plus a tip. Here are my husband's and my reviews for our foods: Alaska roll - 5 stars - This sushi was freshly made from salmon and avocado, and it tasted very good. Pepper-tuna sushi - 5 stars - This sushi contained fresh tuna, ground pepper, and ponzu sauce. My husband ate it and enjoyed it. Hibachi filet mignon - 5 stars - The filet mignon was cooked medium as I had requested. It was accompanied with a flavorful salad, soup, and vegetables and perfectly steamed rice. Dare I say best Japanese Steakhouse in tri-state area?! Fusion is the real deal. As a Washington local, I eat here at least once every two weeks. It's the only acceptable place in town for sushi, and the sushi is actually fantastic! During weekday lunch hours, they offer specials where you can get two or three rolls of your choice with soup and salad at a discounted rate. I LOVE this offer; I wish they had it all day or atleast on the weekends. My go to rolls are spicy yellowtail, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna. My only gripe is that you can't get the chicken tempura roll as part of the lunch special, but you can get the shrimp tempura roll. My coworkers and my sister and I get this often and it's good every time!! The hibachi here is also delicious, and if you dine in you can sit at either a classic hibachi table or in a regular dining area. Food comes fast. Fusion has the BEST ginger salad dressing ever, and I love the clear soup here as well. My dinner entree pick is usually hibachi chicken and shrimp with fried rice. The noodles are so yummy too! The only thing I've ever had that I didn't like here is the rock shrimp and calamari. The sushi and hibachi are out of this world though! read more

Fusion has won best Japanese over the past couple years and I can see why. I had the miso soup, gyoza (pork dumpling) the volcano roll and the eel roll. Everything was delicious. The fish tasted fresh and the flavors were good. I like that you can choose to either have the louder, more entertaining hibachi experience or the quieter more private dining. There were 2 people who had birthdays in our seating area. Their servers brought out dessert for them, sang and rang a gong. Our server was speedy, pleasant and attentive. Fusion had a wide variety of entrees and sushi. I think this would be a great date night spot. You could come here week after week and still be trying new and interesting things on the menu. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I LOVED this steakhouse! Food and the customer service was AMAZING! I have to start by saying that I loved our waitress. She was soo funny and sweet. Being our first time dining here, she was kind enough to go over the menu with us and offer her recommendations. She made me laugh so many times, she had such a great sense of humor. Being from another state, everyone is so friendly here in Pittsburgh! As for the food, the food was AMAZING! We had their sushi in addition to their hibachi. We decided to get their hibachi EAT LIKE A BOSS! I split this meal with my husband because it was large and I was not able to finish it by myself. Let me tell you.. this meal was on point! If you love seafood i recommend this plate. But just to warn you, its large! It has shrimp, lobster, scallops and steak with veggies and a choice of rice or noodles. As for their sushi, D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, along with their yum yum sauce, my favorite. Usually the hibachi comes with a salad and their soup, which were also delicious! I've been to Fusion 3 times now, and I've been impressed. Their hibachi grilled is phenomenal, though the first time I went, my chicken was slightly undercooked. All you have to do is ask them to cook it a little longer in front of you if that's the case. The cooks have also been pretty entertaining while we wait. Food is okay on some days. Today is not that day. Ordered 2 hibachi steak dinners to go. Everything was crammed in a small bag. Get home and I grab the bag it broke! It freaking broke! Food all over my yard and in my car $63.00 out in my yard. I sure did try and savage it. What we did have was not good. So reason for bag breaking is stacking food on top of soup. The soup lid broke and out went the soup. Steak was chewy and hard. Noodles were under cooked. Vegetables were good. We didn't have soup due to is spilling. The salad was gross. Customer service was awful! Stuck on their phones never looked up and handed me a stuffed bag of food. My fault for not calling them out on it, I won't do it again. read more

I've been to Fusion multiple times over the years and it never disappoints. I've had everything from the sushi, to hibachi, to the bento boxes, to the appetizers, and everything is very very good. The sushi is delicious. It's our new go to take out spot during quarantine. It is a little pricy, but the portions are huge so I don't mind. The husband ordered the shrimp fried rice. His came with soup and a salad. He had no complaints. Waters were filled before the main entrees. I am very hesitant on ordering sushi in Washington PA, being that it would not be fresh. I ordered an eel and cucumber, and the "special" spicy scallop rolls. Their were six pieces each. The eel was warm and it melted in my mouth. The spicy scallop roll was spicy, but pleasant with a crunch. I would definitely get both again. I was surprised both tasted fresh, the rice was perfect, and the pickled ginger hit the spot. We also got a child's portion of scrimp fried rice to-go. Absolutely awful service on February 10th, 2024. I was there to celebrate my birthday, only to be sexually harassed the whole time by our chef. Like there always is at hibachis, I decided to catch the sake with my mouth. When I said to stop, he did not. This carried on all night. I repeatedly told him stop, covered my face with a napkin, held my hands out to stop him, but he was relentless and kept pouring it all downy chest. He did this three or four times until I eventually caved in. I was so intoxicated, I couldn't even enjoy my birthday meal. Each time he was pouring the sake, he'd also take a pour himself. I'm not sure if he was drunk himself. When he threw the rice, I kept saying no. He kept throwing it at my face and in my shirt, despite me REPEATEDLY saying no. So once again, I gave in. Every time I opened my mouth, he would keep making moaning noises. As the night went on and I kept denying more sake, he'd keep saying "Are you mad at me?" while smirking. I said "yes, you're getting it all over me." He then proceeded to say in front on my family, boyfriend and friends and kept saying "That's okay you can go shower with daddy." I was SO highly uncomfortable that I was awkwardly laughing. Not only was I upset, but so was my family and boyfriend. But it didn't stop there, he would later on and say "you need to learn how to swallow" once again in front of my family. The whole night he kept making moaning noises, being disrespectful despite me repeatedly saying no. He only stopped when my boyfriend puts his hand out and says "knock it off." Even the table next to us, another customer told him that he was annoying and upsetting him. Very awful experience. I will not ever go back. I've attached the photo of the chef. This spot gave me a quick, delicious taste of what I was looking for. Coming into town from an 8PM flight, dinner options get limited fast. We walked into Fusion around 9:10 and were seated by the bar right away. Our server was efficient and when we asked about getting cold sake he let us try the cherry sake since they were out of what we wanted (FYI: Cherry sake taste like cough syrup, so we passed on it!). He was quick to suggest another drink, the Flaming Volcano, which we ordered. It's a great specialty rum drink for two, which came in a festive bowl-like glass and had a flame to add to the fun. The salad dressing is a creamy ginger dressing. The broth soup was unlike any other I've had. It had a garlic flavor to it and was very delicious! This place was so great when it first opened! Sadly, I was not pleased with my dinner here last night at all. Ordered the dynamite roll for an appetizer and received the miso soup and salad that comes standard for hibacki meal. The lettuce was wilted and the ginger dressing was very watered down. Soup was good. But the appetizer sushi was nowhere to be seen. We had a bit of an issue getting our drinks refilled, and then out of nowhere it was freezing! I don't know if an air conditioner was malfunctioning or what, but the other people at our table were dressed for summer and very uncomfortable. As our chef was cooking on the grill, still no sign of the sushi roll. I asked our waiter and he apologized and came right back with it. The top of the roll was crusty. Like it had sat out for awhile. I sent it back and then Midway through our dinner the new roll arrived. It was just okay. Not sure what the issue was, but it was not prepared as well as it had been in my past visits. When we got our bill we found that we were charged for bar drinks we didn't order and an extra sushi dish. It took almost 15 minutes to get that sorted out.
