Minimalistic menu - you have to have what they have got! This is not the place to come for your favourite schnitzel and French fries. The food is slow, the waiters (and owner) witty - some might not like / understand it. I do. Very good selection of wine, including reasonable Polish vines (yes! We do have a proper white). The fusion, the wit, and the joy might no appeal to everybody, but the quality is superb. I love the place.

Warm goat cheese salad with figs - the goat cheese was delicious, baked in a flaky dough and the figs as well as the strawberries were great compliments to the dish. 4. Pear and Gorgonzola pizza - my husband who never ever eats Gorgonzola loved this pizza. The crust was thin and delicious and the pizza was fantastic overall. 5. Strawberry meringue cake - absolutely marvelous! It was so light and refreshing, perfect for summer. 6. Panna cotta - also marvelous! The acidity of the passion fruit and creaminess of the panna cotta went along great! Also if you have children this place is fantastic because they have a private section of the beach enclosed with a playground, so while you wait for food you kids can play! Cookies and other sweet things are also delicious here. The beer is also great and suits a place like this. Try the polish brands! And finally the food is great as well. I think they only serve Polish dishes. The only problem is that the menu is entirely in Polish. But the friendly staff did a good translation with a smile so the problem was not that big. The interior is really fantastic and unique. They have collected tons of old stuff from a time period that is no more. The things have a beautiful touch of patina from an interesting history. There seems to be new people working here every now and then. I went here every day on my last visit to Gdansk. Everyone from the staff were really nice and service minded. Each time was a pleasure to go here, because of the staff, the cool atmosphere and the food. I can highly recommend this very special place, but don't tell everyone, it's best kept as a secret! :)

The ambience did it for me. I felt like I was Alice in Wonderland when I stepped into the place, I just wanted to walk to every corner or the place and inspect all the furniture, wall art, books, antiques and trinkets. Whoever built this place is an artist and must be a very interesting person! I can lounge here forever. The whole layout/ setup of the venue is quite cool, there's a small corner room that feels like a living room (but very artsy) and I'm just in love with it!!!
