Took my 2 German Shepards to get groomed today and I have NEVER been so impressed by a groomer EVER! They were both so calm going in and coming out. Their coats looked absolutely amazing! One of our pups has a challenge with the hair on his hind end and no matter what we do we have never been able to get the hair well enough there. Sarah and her staff not only got that area, it was soft and fluffy!! You will not find anywhere that will care more about your dogs and treat them like family like Fuzzy Paws!! They even came out with the cutest valentines bandannas on! They are very happy boys and can't wait to come back! I would give them 10 stars if I could!! read more

I take my dog here to get his nails done. I can't do his nails at home, but when I take him in to fuzzy paws I'm literally in and out of there in five minutes. Less than five minutes. Sarah is amazing and they always take such good care of my Vinnie. I've never got him groomed; I always bathe him at home and even trim his hair myself at home. But the next time I take him in to get his nails done, I think I'm going to make him an appointment lol. read more

Got a text back stating no appointments and I could wait for a cancellation. I texted back how long is the wait, as I'm not in a hurry. Came here once (around January?) to get a nail trim and teeth cleaning for my golden retriever. Quick service, especially without an appointment. Nail trim was fine; everything took less than 5 minutes. However, it didn't even look like she did anything to clean my dog's teeth. They were so quick, I wondered what kind of teeth cleaning she did? Wiped the few front teeth? I had left before realizing. I suppose that's my fault for not checking first and speaking up about it. Last week, I called to see if they had any availability for a cut and bath for the same golden retriever. The woman who answered was EXTREMELY rude and reluctant to schedule an appointment. She "tsked" and seemed annoyed that I was asking such a thing (umm sorry I thought this was normal for a pet grooming place?). She said they were booked four weeks out, and that they wouldn't be able to do anything for my dog. I expected them to be busy since the weather's getting warmer, which is precisely why I called to inquire. I'm a pretty understanding person, but her ill-mannered response and attitude with me isn't appreciated. She obviously doesn't want my business. That's fine, as I've already taken my business elsewhere with friendlier and more competent staff. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If the staff are that stressed about being busy--so much so that they are harsh to people--I wouldn't want them handling any animal. read more

We have taken our golden retriever to fuzzy paws twice now... And as you could imagine, a golden is no simple task. We are very satisfied with their service and how they treated our puppy! We have tried other groomers in the area and unfortunately for them, their service and attitude did nothing to compare to the friendly staff at fuzzy paws and excellent results. Went to Fuzzy Paws last year after seeing how good a job they do on the Douglas County Shelter animals! I volunteer at the shelter and Fuzzy Paws offers free grooming to the dogs and cats that come in looking really bad. That alone earned some of my business so I decided to take my personal border collie/lab mix in. They did a great job near his butt where he needed a deep de shedding and wonderful job trimming his nails. Would use them again and kudos to them for offering free services to the homeless animals in this community. read more

I was appalled at how they treated my two dogs! My dogs love people, but when they took my dog to place them in the kennel, they aggressively shoved them in. My dogs looked terrified! New to the area so I thought I would check out this grooming place because of how many stars they received. I don't know how they have so many good reviews because they were not friendly people, and not friendly to my dogs. Don't know if they had a bad day but how they treated my dogs was unacceptable. They need to work on their customer service, and understand that all dogs have different personalities and to adjust accordingly. I will not be going again. read more

I took my two small dogs to fuzzy paws for teeth scaling, anal glands and toe trim. Not only is fuzzy paws great with my dogs, but they are reasonably priced! My 13 year old chihuahua's teeth went from green to white in one cleaning! The best part about that, is she didn't even have to go under anesthesia for this service. I will only be taking my dogs to the vet for cleaning when they need extractions. A+ to fuzzy paws! read more

Sarah is a fantastic dog groomer! Her and her staff are consciousness and reliable. Her facilty is also immaculate! Every time i pick my dog up from her place she seems happy to be there. My mom also takes her dog there and loves the job that sarah does!!!I also really love the fact the sarah does not keep my dog all day. The care my cat receives here is exceptional. She goes in twice a year with terrible matted hair. They treat her wonderfully and she leaves very happy. Last time they told us her claws were hurting her feet and they trimmed them with no charge. They are the best! read more

They're busy and every appointment is a week out so good for them. I asked if anyone cancels please call me and I would be there in 15 minutes than to have to wait an entire week. I have never received a call for any cancellation ever in the years I had been going there so again good for them. I missed an appointment near Thanksgiving for 2 dogs due to a family emergency and I told Sara that when I made a second appointment and apologized as it was my fault. I had to wait another week and on the day of I was running a half hour late and called Sara but she said she left a message but had to reschedule again. I said I never received any message and found out that it was because she was using an "old phone number." Usually one would get a call or text reminder of an appointment the day before the appointment. If she is going to follow the rules of a doctors office for her grooming business then follow the procedures they use. She was also using an old contact number and should have asked me when I made the appointment if the phone number she had for me was current. So I gave her my new number and promised I wouldn't miss the next one and all seemed fine. I understand she lost money due to my negligence but when I made another appointment I showed up early I was told I had to "PAY IN ADVANCE!" I have no problem doing that because I was wrong earlier and I understand so that wasn't a problem. I just would have appreciated being told that when I made the appointment that I was being punished for the earlier issue. So I arrived EARLY for the next appointment "she turned me away!" and said I tried calling you twice today to confirm the appointment. I have no record of receiving a call or text from her period! She said "You're appointment was cancelled because you missed 2 appointments and that she lost $100.00 because of me. If she never intended to do business with me again from the past issue then she should have not accepted the most recent appointment and disclosed her new terms and cancellation policy and not have me show up "EARLY" and then read me the riot act again for the same discussion we had previously. As far as the service goes they don't do a good job grooming either. Bottom line is I kept my appointment. I showed up early! I was turned away! She lied about calling, me I have proof! I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. To have me show up on time for an appointment just to be combative and turn me away is wrong. read more
