I was surprised to see, "grilled veggie sandwich", on a taco shop menu so of course, being a vegetarian and looking forward to something other than a veggie burrito (my usual taco shop selection), I decided to order it. It wasn't what I was expecting but was still pretty good... There weren't any grilled veggies; the inward part of the bread was grilled and the sandwich filled with shredded veggies (lettuce, squash, and carrots), onions, tomatoes, and cheese. I think it would be more appropriately labeled as a veggie torta or sandwich -- to me, "grilled veggies" usually means there are grilled vegetables in it. Went looking for some tacos on a rainy Saturday. Fuzzy's has always delivered good fish burritos, but now that I can't eat the gluten I thought I'd try the tacos with corn tortillas. I had a grilled fish taco that was very tasty but a bit on the salty side and a very yummy brisket taco. Of the two tacos the brisket was the best. I also got lime rice which was really good, and done just right, not mushy but not too hard either. I finished off the combo plate with black beans, which were ok, needed some lime and hots sauce though. With the weather cooling off I thought it was quite unnecessary to have celing fans on full blast and I had the misfortune to sit right under one, so my food was cold within minutes and I was not too sad to get up and leave because I was feeling chilly myself. read more

I know that this is a difficult time on everyone and hours of operation have changed but when you don't even open and take people's money by allowing online orders to still go through that is pretty crappy. I have no issue with a business wanting to close up shop during this time but when I place an order online just to go up to get it and find doors locked and nobody there it's really frustrating. The cashier who took our food was full of disrespect, I didn't catch his name but a shorter man who completely didn't want to give us an idea of what was good here. The food was prepared just the way I like and the atmosphere is what you'd expect from any Fuzzy's Taco Shop. While it is near the mail, it is across from it. They have a huge covered patio which is always nice. The pork nachos are amazing. I've been craving them for weeks! The chicken in chicken fajita salad was also nice and juicy, I stole a taste of my friends. I've never thought of this place for a salad. read more

For a Casual Mexican food experience, I would rate this location a four... but from an overall restaurant it's a bit lower. The quality and portions of the food for the price was fair and they had a few draft beer choices... so for this type of 'casual' dining I have no obvious issues. If you are in the Grapevine Mills mall area, and would like casual dining with a beer.. it's worth considering.... if you have kids the environment appears ok for them based on our visit. read more

Really enjoy Fuzzys as a change of pace compared to all of the other Tex Mex options. They offer a different take than many of the new fast casual Tex Mex places. Big fan of their grilled shrimp salad with the avocado dressing. Stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. Decent crowd, ordered and got everything fairly quickly. We love this place. My husband and I have come to this location for 5 years now, almost on a weekly basis, and we love the food, employees and the environment. Very laid back atmosphere. The drinks are fantastic. I love that the drinks and food is very customizable. Add a different flavor to your drink or do a combo plate or fry that burrito and smother it in queso for your own chimichanga. Everything is good on their menu. If you love shrimp you must try the shrimp breakfast taco. Yes eggs, cheese and shrimp for breakfast?!! Doesn't sound appealing But don't knock it until you try it! It is amazing!! Yum!! If you don't like seafood, their bacon, egg, and cheese taco is good. Love that there is actually bacon ratio to the egg and not extra egg with a sprinkle of bacon. For lunch my fav is their big grilled shrimp salad, I recommend their house dressing. It's great! And the queso!!! I haven't been to this location since they opened. I went here to get a burrito and quesadilla. I asked for no tomatoes or onions in the burrito but I still got tomatoes in my burrito. The burrito was bland and wasn't that good. The quesadilla was pretty good but they gave me a small dollop of sour cream and pico. For the name on the ticket, the cashier put down Punks. This has been the only Fuzzy's Taco Shop that I enjoy the quality of their food, the employees and the time it took for my food to be ready. The margaritas are substantial definitely not $8 worth. My favorite food to order is the shrimp tacos and the beef fajita nachos. I prefer this Fuzzy's over a handful I have tried all over Dallas. read more

Can someone explain to me how this restaurant can tell me they don't have lime juice, but they make cilantro LIME rice DAILY?! Are you telling me that the cooks squeeze hundreds maybe thousands of limes to get the juice for the rice????! If I ask for lime juice for my salad, how is it possible that they don't have any??? The flower mound location has lime juice, and I understand they aren't owned by the same people but give me a break!! They can't possibly make the cooks squeeze that many limes, but then again they told me I could squeeze the dry ass limes they have sitting out all day over my salad, so maybe they do! when I ask for lime juice they act like I am asking for tequila to go! This is absolutely ridiculous! And it's sad that I will NEVER go back and they lost a customer and family over a simple thing like lime juice! I live less than a mile away and I go out of my way to go elsewhere for a quick bite, because this place just isn't good. I love Fuzzy's brisket quesadillas, but not at this one, they're just gross. I used them to cater my birthday party!! Awesome service good food. This particular location is on a busy one-way road, currently under construction, so getting here is a little difficult if you're stuck on the other side of the street! But, it's as good as all the other Fuzzy's around here. They have a nice patio out there - but you'll be facing that busy street and construction so, maybe not the best place to chill! The food is decent, beer is alright, service is terrible. I come here all the time, it's convenient, and it's not unusual to wait for 30 min or have to flag someone down, to get anyone to notice me sitting at the bar. Really terrible. If you like fast food tacos you will probably be ok with it. If you have had real, good tacos don't come here. I got chicken fajita and grilled fish. The chicken was inedible. The fish taco barely had any fish and had no flavor. The cheese on the tacos tasted like it came out of plastic. My husband got pork and beef and did not like them. We tried the queso also, which was not good. We both left feeling sick to our stomachs and said it was the worst meal we'd had in a while. I didn't even eat most of my food. I come here often and love this place. However, today my experience was sub-par. I sat outside on the patio and I went to hand my empty glass to the guy behind the bar after I had finished. He proceeded to be rude to me and stared me down for a while. Come to find out he doesn't work there...so why is he standing behind the bar?? I let the manager know that he probably shouldn't be behind there if he doesn't work there since it's confusing to customers (he was also drinking beer which made it appear Fuzzy's allows their employees to drink on the job). She didn't seem to care much at all. My background is in hospitality and F&B and I cannot believe management views this as acceptable behavior. read more

I'm updating my previous review because in the past 6 months, I frequent this location every week. The girls who answer the phone know my voice when I call. The breakfast burritos and tacos are BOMB. I don't come here much for lunch or dinner anymore. The breakfast is served all day and recently I realized you can add fajita chicken or beef to your burrito and it's DELISH. Well it was a taco... The place was pretty dirty and the food felt like it came from a Taco Bell kit from Kroger.

Fuzzy's is one of my family and I's go-to restaurants. The shrimp tacos are my parents favorite while I love the shredded chicken tacos and the cheese quesadillas. Whenever my aunt comes to town, we go here as they do not have one where she lives. I love the outdoor patio and the atmosphere as a whole. If you want cheap, delicious Mexican food I would definitely recommend coming to Fuzzy's!! read more

Worst experience ever. Ordered a grilled fish taco and a grilled shrimp taco to go from the bar which seemed ok bartender was great. When food was ready gentlemen at the front register told me to go pick it up from the kitchen. Took food back to my hotel which took maybe 5min. Sat down to eat and both tacos were cold, not warm, ice cold and very salty couldn't even fish them. Terrible service and terrible food. Will not go here again. I've mentioned in previous reviews that I am a big fan of Fuzzy's chicken salad. I recently happened across this franchise, which opened in early December of 2012. I think the portion of chicken in the salad at this location might be a little more ample than some of the other franchises. I also tried a shredded beef soft taco, which was also very good. I really like the way they incorporate the feta cheese into the Mexican inspired dishes; it makes for a really good flavor combination. read more

This Fuzzys was busy, and it is layed out pretty nice, walk in order and wait for your food, typical fuzzys. The food however is very good, as is with most of the Fuzzys. I had the Burritto with shredded beef, and realize that here you can never go wrong with the shredded beef. I am thinking it is brisket, and they cook it perfectly. My wife had shredded beef tacos filled with cheese, lettuce and these tacos were not skimpy. They offer beer and margaritas, and overall if you are hungry you can not go wrong with this Fuzzys. read more

This is the best of the Fuzzy's I've been to - stay clear of their Lewisville location (discovered on my last visit that they wash and reuse their large plastic cups - yuck! ). This place is great, I love their tacos. I usually get the chicken soft tacos, sometimes beef, the shrimp tempura is really good too. The fried shrimp is super crispy and deliciously juicy inside. Love, love, love their hot sauce. Had to buy a couple bottles for home. It's always a treat to eat here. This location does not have a separate bar though. read more
