DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was told by two different border agents that the service I was sold by this company is a scam. There was no chance that I was going to get in the country based on the information that I provided. They said that any law firm would have told me the same. When I contacted the firm this was their response: Each border agent has the discretion to decide whether or not to grant someone access, and there are offences on your record that are serious in nature. Given our timeline, (you retained our services on March 30th, 2016) the only way for you to be granted admission was to apply at the port of entry. Consulate applications for TRP applications take at least 6 months to process. Additionally, we advised that the most important thing was the get the Rehabilitation sent in and pending for review in order to maximize your odds of being granted entry into Canada. However, we received the original documents necessary from you at a date that made this impossible given your travel date. They KNEW I wasn't going to get across the border but took my money anyways. The cost me close to $20,000 for the event I was coordinating. Don't trust them all they want is your money and have zero concern for if you actually get what you paid for. read more

I recently obtained FWCanada to assist me with an issue getting into Canada with a DUI on my record in the United States. While they were very helpful, and the way they charge you is easy and online - several things happened after I got to the gate that I felt either shouldn't have happened or they should have been able to inform me about. Because I have multiple offenses, A Temporary Resident Application is necessary for me to get into the country to do work. This costs 1500 dollars. 750 to get the whole process started, to be instructed of what paperwork needs to be gathered etc. 750 to prepare the actual application to take to the Border. - The CALGARY Customs Border Service DOES NOT take TRP applications at the port of entry any longer. This information should have been known by the Law Firm and provided to me, so that alternate travel arrangements could be made to get to a Border area that would accept an application at port of entry. - I DID NOT need a TRP application. The Border agents spent about 3 hours plowing through my information that was already gathered and prepared by the Lawyers (who I am thinking should have seen this on their own and could have saved me the extra 750 but their business is to make money apparently and not entirely to perform Law and see that the paperwork I provided supported why I didn't need a TRP. I do consider that it was a good thing that I had the paperwork that I was required to bring with the TRP as the Border Agent picked the few pieces I needed to bring with me every time I go to Canada now. That part was worth the initial 750, no doubt. So that's why I am only providing three stars here. The Border agent told me that he had hoped I hadn't paid to have the application put together and when I told him that I had, he shook his head and said that most of the Immigration Law firms working with US citizens trying to get in are just there making money. They aren't really concerned about reviewing the information like with any other Law Case where they would need to know more detail about the situation to defend it. That was definitely his opinion and I think it might be a bit of mine as well. I don't think I could have gone through the process and managed to get in if I hadn't engaged this firm, I just wish things had happened differently and that they had been more helpful as this entire event was probably more stressful than when I had gone through the actual situations that were now on my record and causing me issue. read more

I had a DUI conviction on my record and I needed to visit my Grandmother in Canada. I didn't realize, but you can't come to Canada if you have a DUI conviction. You have to go through some programs. I just don't have enough good words to describe how great FWCanada people are! As soon as I hired them, all worries regarding the visa and the study permit disappeared. I recently had to deal with FW Canada in order for someone to get a Temporary Resident Permit to come to Canada from the United States. After getting all of the necessary paperwork and combining a big file, we had to deal with Justin Bourke, some sort of legal assistant for Marissa Feil, who was supposed to take care of the paperwork and follow up with the process. They were all talk, saying its rare someone gets denied and that it would only take 3 weeks to get an acceptance for the application. I have never experienced such incompetency after spending so much money for nothing. Every time they gave us a time frame or said they would get back to us, or have something done, they would blow us off and not contact us. After having all the paperwork they needed, they took their time and were slow to send necessary documentation to the Consulate. We would send emails and call the office, but would get no real answers or any news, and most times they would not take our calls or reply to any of our emails. FW Canada never followed through with what they said they would. Long story short, it was all for nothing. After all sorts of reassurance, and almost a full year later, the TRP application got denied and thousands of dollars just went down the drain. Please save your money. The TRP application with FW Canada is a scam. They will only take your time and money away from you. They are frustrating people to work with and you will only get denied and played using their services. read more
