    Cute body builder coat rack!
    Kari M.

I saved my 500th review for the Dailey Method. Why you ask? Because it was that good. Yes, I came to class ill prepared for what was about to take place. Keep in mind that I've done 2 rounds of Insanity and 1 round of Brazilian Butt Lift, so I thought to myself, eh, some silly ballet class is no big deal. Um, WRONG! I took a class from Amy and she was amazing. There were two other teachers in the class as well. They were very helpful as the class was full of newbies, so we were all a little slow. :) From start to finish, I was using my muscles in ways I don't normally use them. The Dailey Method is about keeping a contraction on a set of muscles using small movements. For example, the arms routine, which was about 10 minutes, it is suggested you use 2 lb weights. I thought, naw, it can't be that hard, but Amy told me I should stick with the small weights (being that I had never taken a class before, I decided it was best to listen). Thank goodness I did. After 10 minutes of contracting all the muscles in your arms, it burns like a fire of a thousand suns. In our class, we didn't end up using the bar until the end of class, for thigh and core work. Again, incredible that such a small amount of movement will make you beg for mercy (in a good way!) The music was rolling the whole time and I definitely enjoyed myself. By the end of class I felt sore, but it wasn't until 2 days later that I really felt what the workout had done. Muscles I didn't know I had were sore and it lasted for days. I took the class on Wed and was sore until Sunday. Crazy sauce. I highly recommend this location. The teachers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The studio is huge and super clean. I love their coat racks btw, cute little body builder looking guys. :) (see pic) Be prepared, it is as hard as they say it is. You may not feel it during class, but you will afterwards! I have no doubt that if I were to go multiple times a week, I could finally get rid of my trouble zones. So YAY! 5 stars of pure awesome!

We DO IT while on vacation or away for work. I'm holding a straight arm plank position.

I love how Dailey Method classes focus on your core, yet also get your heart rate up and leave you sweating.

She pays attention to the smallest details and corrects your form. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before class so you can find parking in the lot, it's usually busy. First off, there's 3 locations I have picked hillcrest because I love the shopping center which is next to my favorite places (Miniso and Trader Joe's and Handels ice cream). Parking lot is big! I usually come early so no issues there but maybe if you come at a busy time such as after 3pm might be busier. I did the intro 4 classss for new clients for about $90 I think. Classes are 45 mins and start exactly at the time. And the classes are sooo good! Each time I've had different instructors and every instructor I've had have been amazing. It's awesome because every class is different and you can always modify the moves to your own fitness level. I am postpartum so this is actually the first time I started working out after having my baby and it makes me feel so good. I have to thank my man for paying for my classes. They are a little bit expensive. But for me, this is worth it. It's my me time now and a fit mom is just an overall better mom lol. I feel like the amount of time the workout class is, is perfect it really makes me push myself. It's very clean in here and I love the aesthetic. It's so good. The reformers are also really nice and I definitely feel so toned after each workout even days later. I definitely want to try a new location just to see how the vibes are but this location is the one I found with the best ratings, if not just the class but the actual friendliness and helpfulness of the instructors which is why I came here. Even tho it's slightly more expensive. I miss being away and cannot wait to come back! Love this and can't believe I didn't try this sooner!

Booking through…read morethe website was easy, though the class was a bit on the pricier side, I paid $35, whereas I typically pay around $20-$28 per class in LA and San Diego. When I arrived, there wasn't much of a greeting or clear check-in process. The instructor seemed busy, so I ended up putting my things away before even checking in, which felt a little awkward. The studio has a wide variety of equipment, which is great, but there was a lot going on visually. Equipment and bins were spread throughout the space, making it slightly difficult to move between machines. I appreciate the variety, but better organization would really improve the flow of the room. The class itself was unique, with a mix of ages and genders, which I liked. The instructor was kind, asked about experience levels, and offered helpful modifications to either intensify or simplify movements. That said, there were moments where direction wasn't super clear, and some people (myself included) got a bit lost. The pillars in the middle of the room also made it hard at times to see demonstrations. Cleanliness was okay... the equipment didn't look dirty, but it didn't feel particularly clean either. For example, around the weight-changing areas, there was visible dust, hair, and debris. The area for shoes and bags also had a slight odor. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The instructor and workout itself were good, but the small details (organization, cleanliness, and overall flow) made a difference. I'd probably try other studios before returning, but I wouldn't completely rule it out.

Truthfully, it's not my favorite only because there's no…read moreparking lot at this location, so be wary of the street parking - but I still am glad I tried it. Lots of bright light and a very spacious studio. The instructor, Anastasia, also did a great job giving clear cues and explaining the movements.
