First of all, there is an eclectic and yet authentic decoration, leveraging both historic features, traditional Badisch decorations, and brewery equipment. It is truly remarkable.
Second, the service is great. Yes, it is high-volume, but the staff keeps you in their attention while flying around and serving over a hundred of people in at least four different rooms. Great service.
Finally, there is food and drinks. Even if we put aside the beers - which are absolutely great, especially when coming out of the tap - there is a diversity of dishes for everyone's taste, and they are well-made. I went with a shinkenmedallion, while my partner went for a vegetarian pasta option. We were both extremely satisfied with what we had, and were happy to devour it and then follow up with a black forest cake and coffee.
Overall, if you are around, you definitely should stop!
