This review is for their service department. I have had G & B over to my house a times over the years to work on my propane fireplaces. So far I have been lucky and the repairs have been relatively minor in nature. Minor part replace or just a cleaning. The service techs have been very knowledgeable and have always fixed my issue on the first trip. Scheduling them during the fall or winter can be a bitch. They are normally booked weeks out. I assume if I had a real emergency then I could have gotten them sooner. Price has been fair. G & B Energy is no bargain but not a rip off either. recommend. read more

Five and a half years ago they sold me and installed a Vermont Castings stove vented to my chimney. It worked fine for a few years but got harder to start up a couple years ago. Last Fall they sent a young guy out who took it apart and sid that it needed a new starter. He contacted the company and they said that it had been discontinued and they had no spare parts for that unit. I now have a three thousand dollar + piece of hearth ornament. Buyer beware. read more
