Rude, nasty, and charged more than $700 more than they said They came out to the house. They knew it was my late mother's house and I'm going to sell it. Two fireplaces needed to be repaired. I told them money was an issue. Before they left the guy told me it would be $1,000. I said total, for both? He said yes. I was thrilled. Today I got a bill for over $1700. The rude man kept speaking over me, said I was an idiot for thinking it'd that cheap, even though he was the one that told me, then he hung up on me. Unprofessional, rude, terrible little person. We have been using G & B Energy for about 10 years. Exceptional Customer Service. We never have to worry about running out of propane. They have run gas lines (secondary heating units and propane cook top), and made repairs to gas-fireplace logs and propane Franklin Stoves. I contacted G&B about having a 100 gallon propane tank filled. They said I could just bring it on up and they'd take care of it no prob. They didn't realize I was trying to cart it back and forth in the back of my honda accord, a pretty serious hazard. Matt Stremmel, a branch manager at this location, just happened to be at the counter when I was discussing my situation. Not only was he quick to offer to throw the tank in the bed of his truck and follow me back to my house with it, he also helped install it AND get the fire place it was supporting to a place of functionality. I purchased a Kamado Joe grill from G & B. The personnel were knowledgable, helpful, and very friendly. They were extremely accommodating in scheduling a delivery to my home about one hour away. I had forgotten an appointment, and called to reschedule, they were able to move the delivery day forward one day! If you ever want a Sunsetter awning, this is not the place to purchase it. Customer service is not on their radar. They do not honor Sunsetter deals, they do not follow through with their poor installation job, pass it off onto the Sunsetter company even after you pay $800 for them install it. My son called the Sunsetter company & they have told him how to fix the issue, the lady on the phone with him said she could even do it. What ever is G&B's issue is, they definitely need training in taking care of their customers. This is almost a $5000 investment, they take your money then blow you off. read more
