Not thrilled. With tip $1620 for this charter planned well in advanced (months). The night before…read morethe trip, someone called me to confirm the time and I was confused at how they didn't know the time we were taking off!!! I said 8 am, that's what we were told for months, and confirmed for months. I was all but reprimanded for chosen that time and not 7 am. Um? Excuse me? You didn't think of letting me know this two months ago... not the night before.! We have 15 people coming. They said they had another boat at 4pm so we would have to come back to shore right away. The day we arrive, all 30 minutes early, the lady asked how many people we had, and again I was in a state of confusion as this was discussed well in advance. I said, 15. She displayed a sense of shock and said wow that's a lot. Wait what? The captain said he didn't have enough rods for everyone. How is this even possible?!?!??? Finally they were able to find a few more rods so everyone on the fishing trip could go fishing. Unreal. The crew was lovely however they assured us that we would catch our limit and fill coolers, and that's why we needed the 8 hour trip and not the 6 trip. Well after being out there, this assurance became more of a dream. We got 15 small keepers total for 15 people and they were all under 20 inches (bait fish). The entire day. My spirits were still high because everyone seemed to have a good time even though we didn't catch much. This was all immediately destroyed when we rushed to dock. A brut of a man screamed at us to rush off the boat. First the hell all, we are taking a quick 2 second family photo. It's my boyfriends 30th and we caught jack shit! PLUS it's not even 4 pm yet and I over paid till 4pm. All that money and this tyrant is yelling at us. I couldn't even say bye to my family before he was forcing cars out of the lot so the new party could come in. How incredibly distasteful. We are leaving empty handed, and what an end to a 30th birthday. I wish I could at the least say bye to my family who drove 2 hours. $1600 to be treated this way.
