So happy with our experience with G Klemm. We had wind damage that tore off copper panels that we did not even know existed on our roof. Because our roof is made of expensive material every company that came to quote gave us excessively expensive quotes. I met with Jeff to have him evaluate my roof from recent storms. He found hail damage and worked with me to file for insurance coverage. My insurance company pushed back and initially turned it down. Jeff fought the decision and got it reversed. Two weeks later they came out and did a GREAT job installing the new roof, copper flashing and gutters. Everything looks great. This is the second time I've used G Klemm Roofing and this experience was as good as the last. We have an older roof with two layers of shingles, which we know will have to be replaced but in the meantime, we are fortunate to have only minor issues. The first time we used them was in December 2014 for a small leak repair around our chimney vent and that fix has held up. This time the issue was pertaining to the roof area that extends over our front porch. Like the last visit, roofing repair specialist Steve called ahead to give a 10-15-minute eta and then arrives promptly. Steve is very professional and personable and explains what he is going to do before getting on the roof and then explains what he discovered once he comes back down, complete with pictures. He gives a couple options to try with the understanding that, given the age of the roof, the best fix is replacement. We went with the repair and will not hesitate to use them when we get around to replacing our roof. I highly recommend them. read more

He repaired shingles on our roof and took before/ after pictures. He also took a video in the attic to explain our moisture problem. The charges for the roof repair were extremely reasonable. I just want to give a shout-out to Klemm Roofing. This company is excellent. We've had them come out twice now. Once for a repair around a skylight. Instead of telling us we had a major repair, they fixed the seal around the skylights. Four years later, it's still good. This week, we had them come out to see if we needed ice removed. They told us we did not, AND they didn't even charge us for a service call. Honest and fast. I'd recommend Klemm without any qualms. read more

Sorry this is going to be long..very long... .but let me start by saying.. I just can not recommend G.Klemm ENOUGH... If I could give them 10 stars on a 5 star rating I would... Their service and repairs were excellent.. they are an honest company that does good work.. and I have had many sub par companies who have tried to fix what they finally did to compare to. We have lived in our house for only 9 years. We have a custom home. From what I have been told we have a very 'complicated' roof line.. from overhead views that is obvious. It is a large home with a large roof that has many peaks, valleys, off shoots, octagons.. etc We built in 2007... and subcontracted ourselves.. for the most part our original roofer did a fantastic job.. we have had no problems anywhere, but one very very small area, where two roof lines are connected. Our original guy, who was a small independent, went to work for someone else during the economic downturn.. For whatever reason this one very small area would leak only when we had a very severe storm, and only if the rain was blowing a certain way! Kind of hard to diagnose!!! We had one roofer out a few years after our build to fix.. thought it was good.. and then later found it was not. then we tried another.. same thing.. ... Then about 3 -4 years ago we tried another local company who was highly recommend to us - they fixed it once.. failed again.. fixed it a second time for a cost of 1500 -2K... less than 2 years ago.. failed again.. Despite me not being in agreement, my husband contacted him again last spring. took him FOREVER to come out and look at it.. said he would be out..never showed up.. that happened many times... FINALLY came out.. and said ok.. to fix this RIGHT we have to completely take off this part of the HOUSE and do over.. quoted us 7K.(after we paid them 1-2K to fix once a few years ago+ more before) WOW... let me say again.. this was a very very small leak.damp drywall.. very confined area.. couple of drops on the floor that happened rarely,... BUT we have a nice home and wanted it fixed. Now that isn't even the punch line!!! So after waiting and waiting for him to fix.. and my husband calling constantly.. after a few months he said our shingles are now obsolete. We had quite a few extra.. but that wouldn't be enough.. so the only way to REALLY fix was to tear off the side of the house and then RE ROOF THE ENTIRE HOUSE.!!!! THAT had very expensive roofing in the first place. He suggested we file an insurance claim.. This cost would have most likely been in the 60-80K or MORE range!!! To replace a roof that was 99.9% perfect and 01% bad.. wow.. talk about unethical and insurance fraud! We also own a business that deals with insurance companies ( collision repair) and know there are many business like ours that might say a part is bad when it isn't.. but we have a higher moral standard and have always thought.. if you are going to cheat the big( insurance) companies... you will also cheat the small people as well.. Not the way we want to do business and not the type of business we want to do business with! After that.ridiculous suggestion.. old roofer OUT.. looking for new..I went to facebook and yelp and saw the reviews for G. Klemm and called.. I explained the situation.. and the very pleasant, helpful, girl on the phone said Steve was our guy.. he loves finding problems other roofers can't.. especially those with complicated roof lines!! I said send him out!! Steve came out at the time he was scheduled to.. already we were very impressed! He went up on the roof to check out the problem.. took a whole bunch of pictures and then came down to show us and discuss the problem.. Looking at the work that had been done.. both my husband and I, who know NOTHING about roofing.. thought.. WOW.. If we ever did car repairs like that we would be out of business!!! What a hack job!!! But... Who looks at roof repairs????? Steve said he could see the progression of the other repairs.. he didn't bad mouth the other companies.. but told us what he felt they didn't do right .. and how he would correct this problem.. He explained the repair process in language we understood. It al made sense!!! He was confident this was a fairly simple fix.. Our old roofer was a sales person.. he wasn't the one climbing on the roof doing the repairs.. it was obvious he has cheap unqualified labor doing so.. Steve came out today to repair our roof.. cost was under 1K.( remember other roofer wanted 60-70k! to replace a 99.9% perfect roof! ) I am confident it has finally been done right, but if not we have a 3 year written warranty, which is ample time to see. After the repairs he showed us pictures of the repairs, and explained what he did. Looking at the before and after pictures.. WOW....now it looks like we have a professional job.. not a hack job!!! Few if any of us has the time, or even capacity to research the technical aspects of repair for most of the big ticket items: car, roof, brain, etc. if you do, hats off, although I don't know *that* much about hats or their function. Even avid researchers, such as myself, at some point pull the trigger on getting a job done, say a few silent, or even audible prayers and pick the best mechanic/surgeon/roofer we can find. Here are the reasons I chose Klemm roofing: 1) Local business invested in the community 2) high integrity: A sterling local rep and further evidenced by actually discouraging possible aspects of repair not related to structural integrity and current need. 3) previous experience with Mr. Klemm 4). 10 year warranty on labor - if you're not happy, he will take responsibility and fix. He is easily accessible- you will not have to go through layers of diffuse responsibility to reach him On the back end, I.e. After the job: 1) job done quickly by a friendly and responsible crew who left the area pristine after the job 2) roof looks like new! 3). A bit on the expensive side, Klemm himself is a nice, good guy. However, Klemm himself is not doing the roofing - it's his crew, so you may want to stop his crew from proceeding on work where it's not what you want. Personally, I think his crew steamrolls him. Some basic things were not done right on our tear off and roofing, such as proper step flashing and real basic things such as "that flashing should probably not be sticking out like that". Take a good look at the work they do if you get work done by them. I do wish I had hired someone else...but again, Klemm himself is a good guy and did try to make things right where he could. read more

From the very first appointment until the drop off of the warranty information, this company was one of the best and most professional I have ever dealt with. We got several quotes, Jeff worked hard to be competitive and was. I never had to chase them down for an appointment or a reply to an email sent. In fact Jeff was always on point and in touch with me before I had a chance or a need to reach out. I was well informed of all aspects of the job, the crew was fast and efficient and all work was completed within a day and a half. My roof looks awesome, the work is top notch and you can see the quality and care that was put into the job. The follow up from Jeff was awesome as well, and he made sure after it rained that we were leak free. I will never recommend another roofing company. Seriously one if not THE best around. Jerry Klemm's Company installed a complete new roof (tear-off) on my home in November of 2014. The entire experience was extremely positive. Jerry's crew was considerate and very efficient. Needed some soffit work done and always try to start with a local company when possible. We have become accustomed to leaving voicemails when calling many local providers since moving to the region so it was a treat to hear a friendly voice answer our call. After a brief discussion they advised that they would have someone come out after they left another appointment. When Jason arrived he was professional and immediately provided his business card. He addressed the issues we had and also did an inspection on the rest of the roof. He found a couple of rubber boots that needed replaced as well as another spot that needed to be fixed. Pointed them all out and provided excellent detail and explanation. He was able to fix the immediate problem with the soffit this afternoon and will be back another afternoon to take care of the rest. Not only efficient and quality work, but the service level we received from this company today was exceptional! These are the kinds of companies we love working with. I Needed a leak repaired on my roof. I first tried calling several companies from the 2015 Best picks Reports home service guide as they come highly recommended. What a joke that was. They were not interested in repairing my roof, all they wanted was to quote me for a new roof. So I did my own research and found Klemm roofing who was in my home town and had a positive rating. Wow, did I make a good choice! When I called I spoke with Barb who was very friendly and set an appt. within a couple days of my call. When Steve(the roof technician) arrived he was very friendly and knowledgable and took the time to inspect the roof and gave me a complete explanation of what the repair would entail and was able to perform it on the spot. He also took a look at the rest of my roof and put together a slide show of pics that gave me a full understanding of the condition of my roof. I felt he was very honest and did not try selling me something i did not need. From my experience I would highly recommend Klemm Roofing. read more
