When I first started looking for a company to work with, I messaged several different photographers and Carmen was the only person I felt at ease collaborating with. Not only did she reply very quickly, her responses were positive & supportive. I was honestly what one would call a complex client as I was unsure of what I really wanted but that is why Carmen is so great! She helped me execute my vision given my directions were quite vague. When time came for the shoot, Carmen led me throughout the session making it effortless! After an hour session we were able to get many shots AND an outfit change in all the while I was sluggish barely being able to move around much at 38 weeks pregnant! The shoot was a success and after a week Carmen and Ryan emailed me the results. I was very happy with the outcome but requested a couple edits and sure enough they made it happen! I was going through my first pregnancy and I was overwhelmed with all the stress and insecurities that come with pregnancy, however Reaction Photography captured my maternity shots seamlessly! I had found Carmen on Yelp (I'm a big Yelper who listens to reviews) and when I spoke with her on the phone I knew I had found the right person. We were a group of 29 family members, ranging in age from 3 -85 years old . We had 3 sets of families and we needed numerous pictures taken at Gallagher Park. Carmen arrived on time and ready to go. She was professional and truly got every photo we needed. She was calm and helpful and knew exactly what to do. Due to my concern about the weather Carmen was flexible throughout, and was happy to continue taking photos at an inside venue if needed (thankfully the weather was fine and we were able to take all the photos outside). If you are looking for an excellent, creative, professional photographer for any event no need to look further! Carmen is simply the BEST!

This is the same review as I have on Google…read more..... As of the time of this review, I am giving two stars over the process of pictures for my son dating back to October 2023. Several times I call, an automated message comes back and says that they cannot answer my call and to call back. No e-mail or options to leave a voicemail is very inconvenient and shocking for a company that has been around for as long as this company has been (I even attempted Google Chat as it as presented an option on Google - no answer). My son had pictures taken due to the "airport" promotion for January - it is middle of February and told today that they are still working on it (some pictures have been updated at the airport already). I paid for the balance for very expensive pictures on December 21, 2023 and told that the pictures would be ready in two months. I called today (one day short of two months per timeanddate.com) and was told that the two month mark is actually February 28 and to call back then (which I will probably need to call three times again to get a hold of someone), which tells me that our pictures were not even sent to the printers until December 28. I would think that after the thousands of dollars that people spend for pictures here, the studio can afford voicemail or e-mail. I will revisit my review as time progresses once we get the pictures back and IF (and from the reviews I have read here and on the BBB website - which of course legal tactics are used to put the consumer at fault, thus retaining the A+ rating) my son's picture is ever displayed at the airport. Updated June 2024 After having one of our brag books being made incorrectly, the studio did correct it and provided with a couple of extra. It was rather disappointing that we had to make yet another visit to the studio (with difficult parking) to pick them up. I asked if they could ship due to the inconvenience and they do not have any materials to ship (they receive daily shipments of pictures so they should have materials - or go to UPS, FedEx or USPS to get a small box - less than $20 to ship - small price given the overall amount we paid). The picture in the airport did not get up until May, was not January, but at least it got up. My final review of this place is going to be 3 stars given the overall experience and the (in my opinion unethical) strong-arm sales tactics that they use to get people to purchase pictures. The studio is good to have you sign all sorts of disclosures to cover them from a legal perspective, so it would be difficult to sue or to file a complaint with the BBB. My guess is that they have gone down that road WAY TOO MANY TIMES to require signatures beforehand.
