The Pasadena location is in a shopping center with plenty of parking and easily accessible. Once inside the studio, it's beautifully decorated with art samples, shelves of take home art kits, and other goodies. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The studio has many different rooms depending on what workshop is happening at that time. They host classes and events such as (but not limited to) open studio, special events which focus on a theme or specific art, home school, sewing, and digital art. My daughter has visited Artsy Partsy many times throughout the years and each time she comes home with amazing art to showcase. She has been to a few summer camps, individual workshops as well as private sessions. My daughter's school hosted a paint night with Artsy Partsy which turned out to be a hit. Additionally, my daughter's girl scout troop joined Artsy Partsy's 1.5 hour drawing event which covers all the requirements for Juniors to earn the Girl Scout's Drawing Badge. My daughter really enjoys creating art and has gained many skills from Artsy Partsy. Our family will continue refer them to family and friends as well as continue to attend any workshops they host!

Not all catering companies are equal! We were treated like family (literally)! Everything was delicious! The event was smooth, timely & we were really taken care of! One of the things I love most about working with Natasha is her love of food!! A fellow Foodie!! She travels and enjoys cuisine continuously perfecting her practice When she talks about her different food experiences you can see the love & sparkle in her eyes. You automatically know you are EXACTLY where you need to be with her taking care of your catering needs. Everyone you may need for your special day/event is at her fingertips! After searching for so long to find a caterer that would even come remotely to our budget, finding…read moreNatasha was a miracle. Natasha was very professional and organized, and her food was delicious. We didn't even bother trying to find other caterers after going to her tasting because we knew this was it. Her staff was professional, and everyone raved about how good the food was at our wedding. My only critiques are: 1) We also booked with Natasha given the fact that she mentioned to us that she usually had a lot of leftovers. This was important to me because I know my family can eat, & so I even bought to-go boxes to account for this, to which Natasha said was fine. On top of that, since we were doing a buffet style, the price is dependent on the number of guests. The lowest tier was supposed to feed up to 100 people; w/ our estimated guests being over the 100 person range, we had to pay a bit more to go up to the next tier (which was supposed to feed 120 people). During the last week of the wedding, we had a lot of people drop out, but I chose to keep it at that tier since I figured it would be too late to make any changes. On the day of the wedding, we only ended up with 96 guests. But we barely had any leftovers left! Mind you, this tier was supposed to feed up to 120 guests, so had I chosen the tier for 100 people, I'm afraid we would've ran out of food. Also, mind you, the servers gave out the portions, not our guests. 2) On the day of the wedding, instead of the cake table being the navy satin we had discussed, she had made some changes and made it ivory instead. I was fine with this decision because our cake table was standing right next to our navy sweetheart table, so it might have been too much navy, but if you are someone who wants everything done your way, you have to make it clear, or it might get changed. Overall, I could not have asked for a better catering team. Everything was delicious, and I want some of that food again!

My Husband and I worked with Ace of Events for our April 2016 wedding. From the moment we sat down…read morewith Ani & Anjali, we knew that we had found "our" Event Planners to help make sure our wedding weekend was nothing but perfect. Not only was it immediately clear that they possessed the hard skills & work ethics we were looking for in a planner (they are organized, communicative, and knowledgeable about south Asian vendors), but they also made it their first priority to truly understand who we were as individuals, as a couple, and what we were looking for in order for our event to be perfect in our eyes. Ani worked closely with Husband and I to make sure everything was set in place for our wedding weekend. Because of his dedication to us our wedding really reflected our personalities - it ended up being exactly what my husband and I dreamed of. And because of this, we have the Ace of Events team to thank for creating something so deeply personal. We'd heard horror stories about wedding planners from family and friends but with Ace of Events - not only did they exceed our expectations but we actually had so much fun throughout the wedding weekend working with them. My husband and I are extremely picky with how we like things done, but Ani really handled all of the craziness we threw their way with so much kindness. While we must have asked a trillion questions, had to make last minute venue changes due to weather, and much more, Ace of Events was so patient with us and really guided us in a way that all of these tasks created no stress. On the day of our wedding we were hit with multiple curve balls, but Ani always took the upper hand and made it his responsibility to handle everything for us so we (the bride, groom & our families) wouldn't have to stress anything. The wedding weekend was everything we envisioned, and more. I want to end this review by saying, I have no complaints about Ace of Events, they were beyond amazing that even our guests recognized their hard work and were surprised of how well and smoothly they handled everything. Thank you Ave of Events for everything you've done - we would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking to have the perfect event without any added stress!!

The Bad: They…read morewaited until the week of my wedding to tell us that the bridal suite, which was a huge reason as to why we chose this venue, would be off limits. We had been planning for 5 months, and a lot of it was planned around being able to get dressed at the venue. The bridal suite was the perfect place for the bride to get ready and take photos with our photographer. The groomsmen (who also had a seperate photographer) were going to use the area behind the bar to get ready for the ceremony. What ended up happening was the bride/bridesmaids had to reschedule vendors, which some couldn't. They were moved into the groomsmen area, and we had to get ready before we came. We were unable to use our photographer at the venue or take pictures of us getting ready for the ceremony. I (the groom) did my final touches of getting ready in the area where the food was being set up. We were comped $500.00 for our troubles, which to me wasn't nearly enough, but with a week until the wedding it wasn't like we had much room to negotiate. The good: The venue as I said was beautiful. Even the outside portion where we had the ceremony was covered. The water and boats in the back ground looked amazing. My one critique is that they didn't get anyone to scrub the bird poop from the docks, where i'm sure every bridal party goes to take pictures. The staff really takes a lot of the guess work out of everything for the couples, and they have a ton of options to chose from when it comes to decor. They take care of the food, and even the cake which was absolutely delicious (we had carrot cake/red velvet). The day of we had a "Day of coordinator" Lauren. She helped keep everything on time and running as smooth as possible. Her and her staff really did a good job handling our wedding. One thing that my wife and I really liked was how they used a divider to cut off the room for cocktail hour, that way nobody was sitting at the tables prior to eating. It was also a good way for the families to mix in, because it was a lot of there first times meeting each other. Overall: Had we been able to use the bridal suite, this would have been a 5 star wedding. I understand that things happen, but it was poorly handled, and they didn't seem to want to make accommodations. Our wedding pictures were supposed to tell the story of our special day, but that couldn't happen and I still had to foot the bill for the extra photographer even though he couldn't fully do his job due to the circumstances. Changing plans with a vendor the week before a wedding is almost impossible, and the fact that we were put in that situation really bothered me. You only get 1 shot to get everything right on your wedding day, and that last minute change up really effected how I felt about the folks running the venue.
