To me that wasn't a sincere apology. I went to ask exactly what did that supposed to mean? I felt at that point he was taking it personally and this was business. Hence after I messaged him about his approach about him saying I needed to get my bag up then get back to him on making a purchase. He then tries to flip it around as if I'm having emotional issues. I'm sorry to say but I had a horrible experience with Garnett. I made a few changes to a trailer that hadn't even been started but yet I was charged premium for those changes. It makes me sick to my stomach on how much I was charged for such a garbage job. I was reimbursed penny's to take my trailer and finish elsewhere $200 dollars out of $8700. I asked for a certain build and received a bunch of extra bs that didn't even work. I had to return and pay for modifications that should have been free. Basically he deals with men better if you're a woman don't even waste your money. This mf will take your money and treat you like shit after. Acting arrogant asf after I spent 20k on a unit built from scraps. To top it off he doesn't even have blueprints available so you will never ever be able to make whatever unit you purchase legal if you're trying to run a business with this purchase just don't waste your time. He qouted me 1500 to add a flat grill onto my unit. I went to Walmart and bought one for 200 bucks. Had him mount it down for 150. Also he builds these heavy ass 4000 lb units then puts them on a hitch that can only hold 500 lbs. Mine fell so many times almost injured my child who was near it. I took it back and told him to fix this issue he tried to charge me so I got upset and went off on his ass. He put another hitch wheel on there that only held 1500 lbs when again this thing is way heavier. He sabotaged my brake lights also after I got upset with him. Only one side works now after he messed it up. How could he not expect a person to stand up for themselves. That was the last straw for me honestly this was the worst way to invest my money. I regret it and you will too unless you just buying a bbq pit all that other shit is a scam. My purchase even made him more money cause my friends made a huge purchase as well. Only to be bamboozled as well. To make matters worse when I priced what he installed on my cart it came up to 1500 so how did I end up spending 20k. He finessed me outta of a dream somewhat. Contacted to get a quote on a trailer smoker/BBQ and I specifically asked for options as I wouldn't mind paying more for more features or wouldn't want to pay for stuff I don't need - The worker/owner responded saying that they'd build for my budget (which isn't really what I asked for). After that I made an offer and asked again for options - they then informed me they weren't interested in doing business with me. Which was awfully odd considering they had collected little to no information about what I even wanted from the build. Looks like they were just wanting to dig in my pockets, which I'm sure they do to most of their clients. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them at all. Ran into the owner yesterday, me and my 2 business associates from Mr $80 Capet cleaning, while looking for office space to lease and we were blown away by what we saw. The owner was working on a new custom grill/trailor that was one of the best pieces craftmenship that I have ever seen. The owner then took us on a tour of his shop where all of the magic is performed. Needless to say, I saw enough to know that I will go to him for my next trailor, and upgrades on my current on. G Stacks Pits is the % real deal. I first found their Instagram page and was blown away by the craftsmanship of their products. So I went up to see their shop (I'm an industrial equipment guy too, and know good welding when I see it). And damn, their craftsmanship as trailer and pit builders blew me away. So I asked if Garnet and Co could help me get concessions for a lacrosse tournament I was running, expecting they'd send out someone they sold a trailer to... And they did it themselves and cooked the best barbecue a lacrosse tournament has ever had! We had 150-200 players, plus coaches, parents, refs, etc and maybe somewhere from 250 to 400 people served. G Stacks kept up with all the demand, made incredible food at affordable prices for High School students, and totally exceeded expectations. And G and his crew are so incredibly NICE that everyone was smiling all day, from the coach who just wanted 4 coffees to the coach who lost in the championship but went home with a giant plate of links and chicken as a consolation prize. G is one of the nicest people i have ever met. i needed a new 10 foot santa maria grill in a hurry as my old one was in bad shape, he gave me a price and made that thing for me in no time. when i arrived as his spot to pick it up i could not believe what they did in so little time. I feed about 4000 people a week and this grill was flawless. We are so Busy that one grill was not enough so i was back at his shot for my second trailer grill less than 2 months later and again a perfect build. I took my 10 footer into him for a new sink and Diamond plate Grill covers on Sunday and got that thing back on Monday at 11am.
