Even though I have my favorite brands, I like to try their recommended items, and I try to buy from local/regional vendors as much as possible. My only frustration is that Buffalo Trace products are hard to find here... they occasionally carry the bourbon cream, but that's it. GIven the popularity of the brand and the size of this company, I would think that they could secure some sort of distribution for the area. But what I know, I just drink the stuff, LOL!

I frequent the one in Robbinsdale, and have visited the ones in Brooklyn Park and in New Hope, all beautiful stores in my opinion, so expectations were high. Well, as I walked in I am greeted by the beautiful colors of the produce and flowers, trees and plants of the garden center. OH, and the grandiose café which is the Hy-Vee Market Grille Express. Well, I ordered pancakes and eggs to go and while I was waiting, got a coffee. The wait was pleasant, and my food I brought home was delicious! Since I haven't had a chance to grocery shop here yet, I will have to save that for my next review, when I return...which should be very soon!

I went in to purchase a few items (with a bag); unloaded all my items and when checking out the gentleman stated that " if you need to purchase a cart we will happily give you .25 cents to have a cart" !! How rude to make assumptions about me...I then told him next time I will purchase less so as not to interfere with productivity!! Vey disappointed with that interaction!!
