If you're wondering what to do today and tomorrow with your kids they are having a sale of $10 open gym play 12pm-4pm and $5 each friend you bring along I believe (I've attached the flyer) before coming make an account online with the point loma location and put your kid(s) and ages for a smooth transaction They also host parents nights, and are offering summer camps I've always felt welcome here to tire my little out the staff is pretty friendly And there are alot of things for your kids to do alot of equipment to climb on like balancing beams, slides, trampolines, bars to hang onto Reminds of a mini Ninja warrior set There's also a portion of the playground for smaller kids with an obstacle course and ballpit There's seating with a table for parents who need to do work, and seating along the sidelines so you can watch your Littles from afar, if you do want to get onto the floor you have to take your shoes off so I suggest socks for parents :) and maybe grip socks for the little ones (no shoes allowed can also not wear them as well) They also have a bathrooms and a changing room, cubbys for your things and a lost and found just incase I also sign up for the emails of when they host kid events and have discount specials on gym freeplay! read more

Visiting G3 for a friends birthday party. There was one other party at the same time and even then, plenty of space and activities for all kids. There must have been at least 30 kids when we arrived. Kids had a blast the entire time and could have easily stayed more than 2 hours. Cute space for kids to eat and celebrate. Would definitely return! read more

My kids have a great time here. They each take a weekly class. Their gym skills, strength, and balance have greatly improved. Most of the coaches are on the younger side, so they have good energy. I like that it includes unlimited open gym, which they offer a lot of hours. The negative is the cleanliness. I know it has to be hard with so many kids coming through there, but my kids feet are usually dark and the restrooms are usually a mess. I'm not sure if this is how most gyms are. read more

This is an acceptable place to bring your little monsters when school won't take them. It's CrossFit for kids without the weird cult vibe. However... Much like those who CrossFit, your kids will divulge that they "3G" in the first minute of any conversation. We participate in their "punch card" situation where you prepay for 10 classes for use in a year and have visited 5x in the past 9 months. Mine love the ninja training type obstacles and I believe the challenges have upped their confidence level with heights and more importantly depths. It smells like a YMCA, and the adult waiting area is uncomfortable yet adequate for some phone time whilst the kiddos burn thru some energy. Keep in mind this is a place for your kids. Mine are too young for a drop off situation just yet. read more

We had a private birthday party for my 7 year old daughter last weekend. The cool thing about this place is that you can rent it for 2 hours private and have up to 40 kids + parents for a flat rate. So not only do the kids have a place to run around and play but you don't have to worry about trying to stick to a set number or being charged more for extra kids. With this party I was able to invite all of our friends and family, my daughters whole class and extended the invite to siblings being welcome. They also allow you to bring in outside food and coolers for drinks. We opted to pay the extra $100 for an employee to be there and to help with the party, our girl was Ava and she was so sweet, played with the kids the whole time and helped keep timing on track for pizza and singing to the birthday girl. All the parents and kids had such a fun time. I wish there were more places like this that is a safe and private place to have a good time. Highly recommend booking your next party here. Also, we had kids of all ages, babies up to 12 year olds, they all had fun!! Thank you for giving us a great experience and party for my girl! :) Edit to add: the place was clean and parking is super easy, both times I've been we've been able to get a spot right in front, even on a busy Sunday. read more

My review is based on the blind spot where the kids bounce on the trampoline and jump into an area with a bunch of soft pads. I found that there were kids getting pushed in and bullied without any supervision. I'm not okay with kids bullying my kids. Rules would need to be implemented and some kind of warning system for those kids who do t follow the rules. Kids could get seriously hurt. Also, the bathrooms were closed. read more

Held a kids party here with at least 50 kids and even more adults. The hard-working and friendly staff, consisting of Claudia and Diana, were absolutely fabulous. Expert customer service. This gymnastics place is fine. Nothing wrong with it, but we didn't feel like we got everything out of it that we hoped for. One of the teachers who tough a basic/beginner class for our daughter was excellent with technique but had a hard time keeping the kids' attention because nothing was "fun." No analogies for kids to grasp onto, no games, things like that. But technically it was on par. Then both of my kids did a ninja class which they loved. One of the younger teachers though, bored them to bits because they only did 1-2 obstacle courses the whole time and it got old quick. We got a little worried a couple times because full eyes wasn't on each and every kid when they were doing things like somersaults down a ramp and that felt a bit worrisome. But nothing ever happened. There is plenty of variety of classes and times which is wonderful. The place is kept clean. The "front desk" isn't much of anything and you never really get greeted unless you go up to her and get her attention which is a bummer. But overall this is a decent place for kids gymnastics. read more

We bring my 3 yr old son here at least once a month. He loves every aspect of this place. The only con I have is how badly the foam pit smells. They should really remove and replace the padded foam squares inside. Some of them are even ripped and stained. This place is amazing for kids! I signed my kids up for memorial day camp and now they want to come for the entire summer. They have ninja warrior and gymnastic camps that both my son and daughter can go to. I really liked that they had a separate area for littler kids if you wanted to separate. They have a huge ninja warrior course. I will be coming back! Also, they have a program at this location in the other two that his parents night out. You can drop the kiddos off for four hours on a Friday and go on a date night or out with friends. Pretty cool I haven't heard of that before. read more

My 2 year old daughter broke her leg right in front of me while standing on the trampoline at the Point Loma location in January 2023. G3's response? Keep the incident a secret from the staff. I had to use social media as a way to get the attention of the owner of G3. Since then, however, the horrible life-altering event that happened to my sweet daughter has been treated like it never happened. The American Academy of Pediatrics discourages children under 6 years old from using trampolines- it has to do with the amount of jumping and force their developing bones can withstand. However, there is zero information regarding this in the G3 establishment. The owner, Erin Klyczek, actually didn't even know this herself! G3 offers a class for children under 6 without knowing how harmful it can be. They never once showed us families how to be safe on trampolines or how to actually be safe when using their facilities. They have us sign a waiver and think they are off the hook then. I think the information above is important to be shared so families can decide if the risk is worth it. When I shared the incident with G3, the manager at the Point Loma location kept this information to herself. She didn't tell a single staff member. I found this out when I ran into a staff member who I considered to be a friend and it was clear that they never knew anyone, let alone my daughter, had broken a leg at G3. It is so painful for me to talk about what happened but I have to now. This one review might save another child from becoming hurt I recently read a yelp review there was another broken bone there in March and it just brought everything back. When I hear the word G3 I remember my daughter being put under in the emergency room. I remember the photo attached to this review. They had to realign the bones twice since the breaks were so bad. I had to watch my daughter be put under all because I went to G3. While accidents do happen, I need to point out that I was the only adult monitoring the trampoline and even that section of G3. (The owner of G3 confirmed this when she rewatched the surveillance video of what happened that day) No parents or staff members were around. If a staff member had been monitoring the trampoline they would not have allowed the older boys that caused the force that ultimately broke my daughter's leg to come on the trampoline until my daughter safely got off. (you can read details of the incident in my husband's one star review). The reason why there wasn't a parent watching their children is because G3 promotes "work while they play." They even promote dropping your children off while you go workout. Their business model is that you don't need to pay attention to your children because a staff member will be in charge of monitoring behavior. Except there weren't any at that time in that area of the gym on January 17th. How can you trust there would be a staff member at any given time? After taking to social media, the owner, Erin Klyczek did call me and we spoke once. She first made excuses about how she was on vacation so that's why there was zero response to my daughter's incident. She then changed her tone because she realized it wasn't calming me down. Erin Klyczek had a whole speech about how much a broken bone can affect families and when there was a broken toe she did all these measures in response to it... However, after I got off the phone with her I wondered if she would ever check back in to make sure my daughter was okay. Would she hire staff members to monitor the trampoline to prevent this from happening again? 2 months passed and I did not hear from her and none of my friends who still attended G3 told me about any changes made. I sent her a message specifically asking what she did to make it safer by the trampoline section of G3. She wrote back a very PR safe response. Help parents have the facts and really think hard about how if this happened to my family there's no reason it couldn't happen to yours. read more

We were previously members and big supporters of G3, but after the our two-year old daughter suffered a broken leg there and the indifferent response to it we will not be returning and cannot recommend it. Their open gym sounded great, with being able to guide our children around the equipment to learn and play at their own pace, but it quickly becomes chaos with the number of unsupervised children and limited staff watching them. Our daughter was jumping on the trampoline when two old children came on and ran into her, breaking her tibia and fibula. We didn't know it was broken at the time, we just knew she was scared and in tremendous pain, and took her straight to the ER. No one else there noticed any of this. When we knew we wouldn't be back any time soon, we requested a refund and were surprised at the pushback we received. We didn't ask them to pay our medical bills, which even after insurance were considerably greater than the cost of G3; we just wanted them to refund us for a membership that we weren't going to be able to use. The manager was at first supportive, but the response from upper management was a cold "no". Apparently a broken leg wasn't a big deal to them. We made sure they knew it was a big deal to us, and eventually got the refund. After a year of memberships dues for our two kids, why did they put up such a fight? Since the accident we have learned that trampolines are the biggest cause of child ER visits. We never would have known that from the way G3 runs their gyms. We were close with several coaches there, and were surprised to learn that they never heard a word about a child breaking a leg in their gym. No warning of caution, no extra eyes on the trampoline. Business as usual. It has been two months and no one has contacted us to see if our daughter is okay or if she can even walk again. We went from being a part of the G3 community to being swept under the rug. read more

I attended here for a birthday party. The bathrooms were so dirty, there was urine on the floor, no toilet paper. I was surprised.
