We arrived at Tanger Outlets 10 minutes before opening. I needed to exchange some items at Old Navy…read morefrom my online order. We were hanging around waiting for Old Navy to open when we noticed a sports shop right next to it. We had not noticed it before. Maybe it opened during the pandemic? A Buccaneers item caught my husband's eye (lifelong fan and yes, he'll be celebrating until the next Super Bowl) so we decided to pop in. - TLC - One man was holding down the shop. He greeted us and asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. The item that caught my husband's eye was the Buccs logo on a wooden board in the shape of the state of Florida. They had a small one but we noticed that there were much bigger boards with other teams so we asked him about it. He said the empty space in the wall was the Buccs one and that he had ordered more and was expecting some the following week. He gave us a postcard sized flyer and said when we came back, to present the card to get 10% off. Well, thank you, Sir! We will be back because the husband has been celebrating since February 7th and has been accumulating all this Buccs stuff. Not sure where he thinks he's going to put all this stuff, but the man is happy! - The Goods - The store is not very big, but they seem to have a little bit of everything. There were other things like tumblers and traveler mugs to team totem poles to car accessories. I think they also have a website with even more stuff. I mentioned to the man about being impressed about actually finding some Buccs items outside of Florida and around these parts and to sum up what they carry, the man said, "We carry the best teams, the worst teams, everyone in between and everyone elses' teams" LOL. He's right! They have a bit of everything and if they don't have it, I'm sure they can find it for you! Anderson Mercantile (AM) is such a cute little shop! I had heard about this shop on my neighborhood…read morepage awhile back, but haven't had a chance to check it out until today. The owner organized a market with local makers, artists, photographer who was doing a free portrait for mommas and Bowtie BBQ food truck for Mother's Day, so I decided to check it out. It's located in the building next to Waystation Coffee Co. - Parking - Very limited. - Service - The owner was on site and she was super nice. I commented on how I loved the variety and selection of items she carried and her response was pretty funny. "Yeah, a little bit of everything and I'm a little all over the place...so is my store" Haha, I LOVE it! - The Goods - She really does carry a little bit of everything. She clearly love plants and has a sense of humor. There are tons of little plants for sale, both inside and out, and accessories to go with it. She carries a lot of local makers and artists in the shop, as well as lots of women's clothing, shoes and accessories. The t-shirts are fun (see pics). She has some kitschy and fun knick knacks too. There are food items, beauty products and house items. Like I said, a little bit of everything! I ended up purchasing a pair of laser cut, wood earrings by Richmond Hill Candle Co. at AM. When I went outside, Richmond Hill Candle Co. happened to be one of the vendors at the market, and they also had some more earrings in the shape of a lotus in stock so I treated myself to another pair! Everything is reasonably priced. This is a great store to find a unique gift for just about anyone. There is another little room in the back with mostly clothing and other knick knacks, so don't miss it. It's a pretty small store, but full of things to see and explore. Go on in and take a look!
