    Blueberry Bagel with Blueberry Schmear
    Mia T.

I have heard such great things about this spot since they've opened and today was my first time trying them out. I placed an order online and arrived about ten minutes early. While I was waiting, I got to take a look around and gosh, this place has such uplifting energy. They had a plaque on the wall highlighting the student of the week. A lot of encouraging signs spread around and the staff I interacted with were absolutely wonderful. Also, they have a cute outdoor patio area where you can bring your dog with you if you have one! Today I had just planned on getting a bagel & schmear but saw they also had potato latkes on the menu and knew I had to get one in honor of my sister (she absolutely loved them). Everything was delicious!! The latkes and the bagel were served at the perfect temperature and just so tasty! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an experience with tasty food, kind employees, and a nice atmosphere.

A very nice new bagel shop in downtown Zionsville. There is a private parking lot, street parking, and a larger public parking lot so it is very easy to find a spot. The dining area is small, consisting of three booths and 3 small tables. There is a very nice patio that would be pleasant, weather permitting. The menu is extensive for a bagel shop. Featured are many breakfast and lunch sandwiches plus sides, drinks, cookies and baked goods. Breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches are both served all day. It was very busy on a Friday mid morning. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, with red onion and tomato on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. I also bought a container of jalapeño schmear to take home. Can you tell I love jalapeños? Service was friendly but fairly slow. It appeared that a new employee was being trained. Some of the orders were getting mixed up. I'm sure it isn't easy to learn a new job in a busy shop with a line of customers waiting to order and other customers standing around waiting for their food. My sandwich was good, but it was missing the red onion and tomato. This is a nice addition to the area. The food is good, parking is plentiful, and prices are reasonable.

If you want to get a tasty bagel sandwich and aren't concerned about cost this is a great place! You order at the counter as soon as you walk in. The guy provided great service and answered my questions easily. They get their bagels from nyc and finish them in store. Some or all of schmears are made from scratch there. Nice touch. Not a lot of seats available but there are a few booths if you're planning on eating in the restaurant. I likely won't go out so far of my way again but if you're in the neighborhood you might want to check out these New York style bagels.

Came on a Saturday at 9:30am and this place was PACKED. This quaint bagel shop on Zionsville's downtown brick street is a delicious find for New York style bagels. So many pre-made options to choose from, or you can create your own. I got the "Farmhouse" and "Big Bob". These bagels were hearty, the chive schmear was addicting, and they were well worth the wait (about 20min so plan accordingly or come during a non-peak time). Will definitely be back to try more of their made in house schmears and straight from the oven bagels.

The whole family ventured out this morning to try the new bagel place in town. Charming location in the heart of Dtown Zville. 3/4 of us got bagels and schmear. My youngest got the Farm sandwich minus ham. It was huge! With a 15 dollar price tag though...I felt a little conflicted. He enjoyed it, don't get me wrong but the price left a funny taste in MY mouth. The service was good, helpful and friendly. We took our bagels to go and even though our trip home was only 4 minutes, our bagels were weren't warm by the time we got there. They were wrapped in foil and everything. Though we enjoyed our blueberry, cinnraisin, ancient grain and plain bagels, they were OOZING with the spreads. I would definitely get on the side next time. I just wanted the spreads to be thicker. Like if I turned my half upside down, some would fall off. All in all, I will go back to try to the other sandwiches. I want this to be our go to for bagels. The seating inside was good. We could have sat and this was in the smack dab of bfast time. Coffee was great. And I took the overnight oats to go. So I will edit my review tomorrow. Excited to try them.

Zionsville has waited with great anticipation for the opening of Gables Bagels. The shop opened yesterday and did not disappoint as anxious bagel lovers waited in line. The New York style bagels are baked fresh when you order. I ordered and then sipped Brown County Coffee as I waited for my bagels. They have six tables/booths for dine-in and, when the weather permits, they will offer patio seating where you can sit with your dog. The bagels come out HOT! Really hot. My Asiago bagel had a chewy crust with pillowy soft inside. The clerk encouraged me to try the maple, jalapeño, bacon cream cheese flavor which has the sweetness of maple syrup, the heat of jalapeño and lots of bacon bits as well. The smear was generous. My husband had a two egg and cheese bagel. The bagel was hot with perfectly cooked scrabbled eggs and melty cheese. He devoured his bagel. We brought additional bagels home for the next day. The staff is super friendly and will offer suggestions. Prices are reasonable. They open seven days a week at 7 a.m. They have a complete menu of breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches, a wide selection of bagels and spreadables. They cater (box meals) and even have a pick up window. They sell a selection of bottled juices, fresh made cookies and of course, logo tee shirts. Their tag line is "New York Taste - Zionsville Baked". The parking lot is small with maybe eight spaces, including a handicapped space directly in front of a ramp leading to the front door. I'm excited to have this locally owned bagel shop in the heart of downtown Zionsville.

I'm thrilled to see a new dining option in Zionsville, IN. I was just minding my own business on Main Street in Carmel when an unusual sign caught my eye. So, I did what any curious food lover would do: I pulled a U-turn and, to my surprise, found myself at Gable Bagels. I only planned to peek inside, but the menu and the genuinely friendly staff reeled me right in. Next thing I know, I'm walking out with the Pleasin' Vegan - vegan sausage, vegan eggs, vegan cheddar, and vegan chive schmear on an ancient grain bagel. As someone with a food allergy, I can honestly say I felt well cared for. Maykenzee (forgive me if I've butchered her fabulously unique spelling) was an absolute gem. I knew I was in good hands when she promised to handle my sandwich and allergy with extra care. Now, back to this sandwich. I wasn't expecting it to be a showstopper, but BABY, every bite was a full-on flavor explosion. I'm so glad I trusted my gut (literally) and turned around for this deliciousness. There's plenty of parking right out front, so no need to circle the block like a bagel in search of cream cheese. If you haven't tried this place yet, go check it out. I know I'll be back! A huge thank you to Brad as well. I hope I remembered his name correctly. Seating: There are a few booths and tables to dine in. Cool vibes.

Today I visited Gables Bagels for their soft opening and items were half off! The line was very long since everyone wanted to try this new spot and prices were great! Greeted with a friendly welcome and many jokes were told as they tried helping people remain calm about the wait and craziness of the day. Remember to have patience and give them grace as they are all learning. I enjoyed watching the workers camaraderie as they encouraged one another and interacted amongst themselves. The vibe was welcoming and you could tell the owners were also trying to learn names and create a sense of familiarity with their customers. It's crazy there today and they don't have all ingredients, but given time I believe they will be a great spot to drop in and visit.

First time trying New York style bagels! I chose the "Big Bob" - salt bagel, chive SHMEAR (as they call it), bacon pepper jam, brisket egg and cheddar cheese. Delicious! The employees were prompt and surprisingly fast for how busy the place was. I wouldn't plan on eating inside on a busy Sunday morning... it's designed to be a small shop of course! Thanks Gables!!

Good bagel! I got a plain bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. I think I would get a more exciting bagel next time but the veggie cream cheese is a repeater! I went on Monday around 1200 so it was not very busy. The workers were super friendly. They greeted me when I came in and thanked me for coming when I left!! I also used the bathroom here and it was very nice and clean!

Amazing bagels and employees!! I went for their soft opening and weekend and there was a long line because so many people wanted to try their bagels but let me tell you, once we got the bagels and smears- WORTH THE WAIT. I have been back twice since and recommend it to all my friends who have fallen in love and go back too! The place has such a cute cozy vibe and the employees were so friendly and always joking and getting to know customers. The cinnamon raisin shmear is so addicting and I'm not usually a cinnamon raising person. So happy to have such authentic bagels right here in zionsville!

Bagel shop in Zionsville serving up delicious bagel sandwiches. You can dine in or carry out. I had the pleasin vegan and it was packed full of flavor. I gave my co-worker a piece without telling her it was vegan and she couldn't tell the difference. The pleasin vegan comes with vegan sausage, vegan egg, vegan cheese, and a vegan chive cream cheese spread. I had mine on a plain bagel. I will definitely be back to try the lunch sandwiches and the coffee.

Was looking for a good bagel and this hit the spot! Easy menu, and quick service! I ordered the big bob and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back

Best bagel sandwiches in town. They bring the bagels in from east coast. Cream cheese is made in house and awesome, as well.

We'd heard great things about Rosie's, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Our food came out less than five minutes after ordering, which in a packed restaurant immediately made us wonder how fresh it really was. After tasting it, it was pretty clear much of it had been prepared well beforehand. I even asked for my potatoes to be crispy, and the response was simply, "We can't do that," which was surprising for such a popular breakfast spot. On top of that, almost everything lacked seasoning and fell pretty flat flavor wise. We barely touched our meals and didn't even want to take the leftovers home, which is rare for us. To be fair, this is just our personal experience, and it's obvious a lot of people genuinely enjoy Rosie's. We're not trying to be overly critical over one visit. But based on the meal and service we received, it's not a place we'd personally recommend.

I was the only Black customer in the shop at the time, and the pattern of being repeatedly passed over while others were helped first did not feel random. Being ignored for that long while others moved through quickly made me feel unwelcome and singled out.
