I was a client here for a couple of years, however recently this salon has started having a lot of issues. Constantly changing or cancelling my appointment, long wait times and a revolving door of stylists. I had the last straw when my daughter went in for a balayage and they changed the stylist on her last minute. The new stylist had no experience and RUINED her hair. On top of that she added services that she did not ask for and charged her accordingly. She was in tears and they still made her pay. The only apology we got was from the clueless front desk receptionist who offered to have her come back in for her to try to fix it. No thank you - it should have been right the first time! No call from either of the owners - who were not present when this inexperienced stylist did her hair unsupervised!! Now we are spending hundreds of dollars to have her hair fixed. Don't be fooled by the higher reviews - most of those people are no longer there and this place has gone downhill. Save yourself the trouble and find another salon. read more

I stopped in today hoping to get a half inch trimmed off of my hair. Immediately when I walked in I was given the most weird faces and I was instantly uncomfortable. I am a black woman and probably do not have the same physical appearances as their normal clientele, fine. Instead of simply stating they did not want to service me, the receptionist threw out a ridiculous price that anyone with an adequate mind would decline. I feel profiled.. What can I say more than, "wow". Yelp rarely fails me and thought with the number of great reviews this is a place I should try. No. Service My appointment was originally canceled due to the ice storm. I get it. Everyone was closed but, I kept having to follow up with them to find out it was canceled. Not ideal but I get it. Knowledge I went in for the next available appointment, I shouldn't have. I was stuck with Carson(?). She didn't listen to a word I said. I'm not new to highlights. I've had them done all over the country and know what I always get. Every now and then the shade is a little off depending on the products but, it's pretty consistent. That didn't happen here. Service Well, I told Carson what I normally get but, should have known something was wrong when she pulled out a myriad of products. After washing my hair I looked like Cruella de Vil!!!! Carson's reply, "it's your fault. You need to learn how to speak English." Yep. I was shocked. When I asked what product numbers and hues she was using, she said, "I don't know. I don't dye my hair". Yep. Shock again. That's stylist 1-0-1. Experience What's worse than being blamed for her stupidity, having to sit in a chair while she's mean girling me to other customers right in front of me. What a horrid experience. Then she insulted me by trying to just shoo me away with a discount like that would fix my hair. Someone else in the shop offered a few things to try to fix it but, she didn't have the expertise to make it work. And yes, I still paid full price for it because I'm a good customer. I saw Marcos the day I needed to go to a friend's wedding. I was long overdue for a trim (my hair was so knotted with split ends) and Marcos did a beautiful job. He put life back into my hair and gave me the most flattering layers for my face type. The scalp massage put me to sleep, and complimentary drinks were the cherry on top! I've been receiving services from this salon for eight or nine years. Gabriel does my highlights and unfailingly provides consistent results using low lights as well as highlights on my naturally blonde hair that is darkening through the years. I often get compliments from total strangers who ask me where I get my hair done. I have had several stylists throughout the years and Marcos has cut my hair for the past two years. He takes as much time as is needed and never rushes. He has never cut my hair too short, which is my nightmare. The salon is drama free. read more

The moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly. It's such a better feel from the last salon I went to. They do a great job. Everyone that has done my hair and my daughters hair have been amazing. The only issue I had was my first appointment I arrived on time and they didn't inform me that my colorist was running 30 minutes behind. I was pretty upset as I had a lot going on and ultimately had to cancel other appointments. I will say this...if I have more challenges of them not running on time (while checking out, Another colorist did the same thing to another client) I won't continue going there. I have gone to this Salon many times before and while I am not one for confrontation, I just happened to need my hair dyed while my normal stylist happened to be gone. I ended up with an appointment with Kali Germany the same day I called for an all over color. The process was alright up until she told me I was done and mentioned that I had some staining on my forehead that would last a day or two after washing. There was staining/ dye on my forehead and ears and first off I left the salon after paying. Once in the car I realized how ridiculous it was that I walked out of the salon looking like that so I headed back into the salon where I proceeded to ask for a towel to clean off my ears. The receptionist returned with a towel and hair dye remover and I proceeded to clean my face and ears since there was no one to help me. 2 days later I am still washing hair dye out in massive amounts. I learned to never risk going with other people despite liking the salon. This experience was disappointing for both me and my mom who have been going to this salon for a long time and are loyal customers. read more

I cried tears of joy! Stormy did my color and Alyssa did my cut - their teamwork gave me perfect balayage layers that looked natural and beautiful. I couldn't articulate exactly what I wanted to Stormy, so I said that I wanted to camouflage my few silver hairs, that I liked my natural dark brown color, that I liked the Stars Ice Girls look, and that I didn't want to have to do a ton of maintenance on it.
