So I wanted a place close to fix our phone and this one had some good reviews. First off I don't know if they are scared of getting covid or afraid of giving covid but the door setup was a little strange. Maybe a little overboard but they have to do business. So the phone was water damaged but the only issue was connecting to the Verizon network. Sent it off to Ohio I think. Took a couple of weeks Got it back and it was working great. Coming in at $240 was better than buying a new iPhone X. read more

I have gotten out of the habit of writing reviews. The last one was 18 months ago. I figured I would get around writing a few reviews again someday but who knows when. Anyway, Gadget Fix was a huge motivation to get back on the program, at least for one. So I strolled in to a friendly hello from the owner and a "woof" from behind the counter. The company dog gave me a friendly look and went back to sleep. I had a charging problem with my phone which I expected would require parts. Instead an adjustment work and as a bonus gained much information about reduced charging rate with long cables and the importance of a good cable that gives a distinct click when connected. I am not certain I am convinced to move from having a pile of cheap throw-away in 3 months cables or a couple really good ones but it is something to think about. And I am going to stay away from the long ones now. Oh, back to the repair. Repair was going on during the discussion cable attributes, no parts required, and there is no doubt I received more than I paid for. Great place. read more

I had the amp in a "authorized" repair place for over three weeks. They diagnosed the problem, and quoted me a price that was close to the price of a new amp. These guys are great. Saved me a trip to the Apple Store. I'm using them exclusively from now on. I bought a new iPhone and was having trouble syncing my bluetooth headphones. After a lengthy conversation with Apple with a customer service agent and a supervisor who both used screen share to see my phone, the issue wasn't resolved. I was told I needed to drive to Tampa, 30 minutes away, for a repair. These guys showed me how to sync the headphones in 30 seconds. They fixed my mom's laptop screen. It's a touch screen laptop and it was cracked to the point the screen would register multiple ghost touches which almost made the laptop unusable.
