Since age 3 my son has been in a self-contained special education classroom setting classified for Communication impaired. Today Jaden is 9 years old in the 4th grade. We brought him to LearningRx in Marlboro because he struggled to read and he needed help. When we brought him in for an assessment we found that he struggled to read on a First grade level and was very lacking in confidence. After speaking with the owner, Michael, he was able to assure us that his program could help Jaden. We were a little reluctant but felt we had nothing to lose - we were desperate to get help for our child. Jaden worked with Mrs. Sue three times a week for 6 months and at the end of the program my son was reading!! What LearningRx and Mrs. Sue was able to do for our son was nothing short of AMAZING! They were able to bring Jaden back to the basics of sound and reintroducing him to "non-sense" words (that when you think about it makes absolute sense) that would be necessary for sounding out the syllables to form words. Not only do we see his confidence improving in each passing day but he is no longer in a self-contained classroom setting. He's now in mainstream classes and is pulled out for 2 hours each day for Math and Reading. This is HUGE for Jaden! Since that date I have reached out to Accounting Assistant Maggie Chan, Chief Accounting Officer Deborah Dombrowski, and even the agency owner, Albert Compitello. An entire week has passed since payday and nothing has been done. Failing to pay an employee is the lowest, sleaziest thing you can do as an employer. And let's not forget that it's illegal. I was told that there were contributing factors to delayed pay, as one of their employees in payroll resigned. I was told that they were recently brought out by another organization. One thing I was not told, though, was when I would get paid. Yesterday the recruiter Stacey Kostue advised me that although she could not assist, that Al Compitello had the authority to arrange for funds to be wired. That was yesterday. Today nothing has been done. I even reached out to the organization that brought them out, ACS Solutions. According the Vice President of Human Resources, Marne Oberg, she was informed that Al Compitello had addressed it. Nothing has been addressed. I still have not been paid. Small Claims Court, here I come.
