So happy to be at this school with their wonderful staff. They took in my son with open arms and he…read morehas done well ever since. It is the first thing he wants to get his shoes on in the morning to go do, say school, and hes ready to come here.

This daycare is an absolute disaster from the top down. The director, Andrea, is openly rude,…read moredismissive, and talks to parents like they're stupid. They don't follow their own policies, don't complete required incident reports, and their "Honeycomb" system they brag about is basically useless since it isn't even utilized over half the day. They are severely short-staffed and it shows - constant chaos, kids hitting other kids with zero staff intervention and no sense of safety or structure. During enrollment, the staff member handling my intake told me to leave the weekly rate blank because they "needed county verification" before giving me any numbers. I signed the authorization assuming, logically, that they wouldn't charge anything until they knew what CCAP covered. Instead, they withdrew nearly $600 from my bank account without any notice, invoice, or explanation. No one had ever told me the rates, what I'd owe, or that they would charge me before receiving county information. Every interaction with Andrea after that was condescending and hostile. She talked over me repeatedly, refused to answer basic questions, and gave me the run-around for over two weeks. She even lied about not having my county paperwork... because I saw it sitting out in the open on the front desk, containing private information. I am in the Safe at Home program. That alone is unacceptable. When my son finally started, things got worse. He was inconsolable at drop-off and pickup, the classrooms were understaffed and chaotic, and kids were being hit with zero intervention. A staff member casually told me my son had been hit and dragged by his shirt, yet no incident report was ever completed. When I asked about it, Andrea gave me more attitude and zero answers. After repeated calls and no follow-up, I withdrew him. The ONLY competent person in this entire company was Emily at corporate, who fixed what the center repeatedly messed up. Do not trust this location with your child. The disorganization, lack of safety, unprofessional behavior and blatant mishandling of money & personal information are beyond unacceptable. This place is a liability. Run the other way.

She creates a warm, safe, and structured environment tailored to the needs of each child. We regularly receive thoughtful progress updates and report cards that highlight what our son is excelling at and areas where he can continue to grow--something we love! On top of that, she provides delicious, home-cooked lunches! Tina genuinely cares for every child in her care. We feel so lucky to have had her in our son's life.

Tina is a great daycare provider. She runs a preschool program for most of the year and the kids…read moredo a craft every week, sing songs, read books, learn a little Spanish, learn their ABCs/counting/shapes/colors/patterns/simple math/etc and begin reading before entering Kindergarten. We completed Kindergarten round-up and they were so impressed by how much my son knew already. They wanted to know where we send our son so they could even make recommendations to her! She is extremely reliable, only needing 1 sick day in the 3.5 years we have been with her! Her vacation times are very clear in the contract and she always gives multiple reminders well ahead of time. She is a gem and worth EVERY penny! *It keeps saying my location is in California, but this is incorrect. I am from St. Cloud, MN!*

It is disappointing when a school's actions appear inconsistent with the Christian values it…read morepublicly promotes. Prince of Peace Lutheran School describes its mission as "Learning for Life. Centered on Christ," emphasizing compassion, respect, leadership, and Christian values taught "through both words and deeds." Yet during an 8th grade graduation ceremony, a father who remained actively involved in his child's life and education for many years was publicly excluded from parental recognition while only the mother was acknowledged. The decision was deeply hurtful to the father and extended family and reinforced division rather than encouraging respect for both parents. Despite shared custody, involvement in parenting and school responsibilities, and significant personal and financial sacrifices made to support his child's education, the father was effectively made invisible during an important milestone moment. There were also prior concerns involving bullying, exclusion, and favoritism connected to individuals within the school community. At one point, my younger son -- who did not even attend the school and was only eight years old -- received disturbing online threats from older students associated with the school involving gaming items and violent comments. When concerns were raised, it felt as though they were minimized or dismissed rather than addressed seriously and compassionately. A faith-based school should promote unity, accountability, dignity, and protection for all children and families. Actions should reflect the Christ-centered values the school publicly teaches. Families deserve respectful communication, fairness, and an environment where children feel safe, valued, and protected.
