And so the rest of the goods tasted great with the highlights being the Butter-nut Crest, Bienenstich Pastry (vanilla and almond) and Chocolate-Hazelnut Crocant(delectable!). The pretzels were soft and chewy and surprisingly enough, reasonably priced! Bäkehaus also offers loaves of rye bread and a plethora of sandwiches with a German twist (I spotted a pork schnitzel sandwich with cranberry sauce on ciabatta for £3.99!), so why not grab something here for lunch instead of opting for a pricey sandwich from Pret or a sad sandwich from Tesco? It's located on the high street just minutes away from the Tube station, so you really don't have an excuse.
