They will penny pinch you to death. I had the same experience as others mentioned here, their clerks make major errors, even when you type out the information for them, and email it to them, they will still send it back without the error fixed so that you have to send it back again. They then bill you for the back and forth emails with their clerks to fix their own errors. On top of that, my lawyer never stayed on top of my case, I had to spend an hour every time I talked to him to refresh him on where we were to date, which of course gets billed as well. It was an awful experience, I had to get a new lawyer. read more

We put out thousands and they didn't even get the math calculations right. Nothing was done and as it seems nothing was even looked at. Although, I got back a ridiculous amount I owed for nothing!!! I read a lot of reviews on this law firm and liked their mission statement about treating people the way they'd like to be treated. But I can tell you this; that just something they say its not something to follow for them. I have wasted my time and money to have nothing done and then when confronted the lawyer working on my case resigned leaving me in the middle of a family "battle" high and dry. They say they want to solve things in a timely manner while being cost efficient; don't believe that either they nickel and dime you for everything. I asked questions and got a 1 hr education on something that didn't matter and never got an answer to my question. read more

Integrity and professionalism is far from the capability of this law firm. They have discriminated against me for my disability. They have ignored emails, missed dead lines, and further created conflict to line their own pockets with money. After dozens of thousands of dollars spent, my case is still going to court. Still no separation or financial agreement in place because the lawyer my ex used is so outlandish no lawyer could relate to her. She has advised decisions not in the best interest of children but to further create conflict and prevent any ability of a coparenting relationship. read more

We used Lynn Kirwin from this law firm and we got nowhere!! We've paid over $14k to be no further ahead and now having to do it on our own! It is of our understanding that we aren't the first to complain about Lynn. Apparently the complaints that we have, others feel the same way! Lynn did not do what she was hired do, not to mention we paid $14k to be absolutely no further ahead. Lynn as far as we are concerned did nothing, she didn't file the court documents that were given to her to file or amend what we needed amended. There was an urgent motion filed by the opposing side and Lynn's assistant Courtney stated by email that the endorsement was to be made into an order by the Respondents legal counsel. Which was never done, when we asked Courtney and Lynn where the order was, we were told we didn't have enough funds to draw it up!! Funny part is, there was enough funds at that time, but that shouldn't matter if the opposing side is the one to draw it up! I'd also like to mention the fact that the endorsement has orders on it that are absolutely impossible to follow because what it states to be done doesn't even exist!! On top of that, the errors in the endorsement had to be brought to Lynn's attention by us. Instead of taking care of that, Lynn dropped us as a client because we didn't have another $7k to give her. Lynn then sent us a bill for over $600. to close the file!! I'd also like to mention that all correspondence and or questions sent to Lynn were always to be only answered with another bill! Now the respondent isn't following the order because she's going off an error and now after all this money, we are left to figure it out and fight it on our own!! Lynn has a 2.3 rating under Lawyerratingz.com, unfortunately we didn't see this until she was no longer our lawyer! The complaints on there are for exactly the samethings we have complained about!! We have now had to hire a different lawyer from a different firm, to do what we hired Lynn to do! Next step is to file with OLS, as Galbraith Firm keeps saying we didn't have any funds left in the trust account to do anything more! Funds weren't the issue, or we wouldn't have gotten a new lawyer) the issue was, why on earth would we give more money to a Lawyer or Firm that hasn't done anything they were hired to do...that would be complete insanity!! read more

Things are filed on time and well organized, this office operates like a well oiled machine. The staff are competent and polite. It is amusing to see a lawyer from here school an opposing lawyer in basic family law. They even provided my young son with a book for children about divorce and separation for him to read and keep, which seemed to help alleviate some of his fears and concerns.
