Stopped in for a drink, and decided to share an appetizer. The Cheese Curds were good and the Brew Haus Lemonade was refreshing. The building was pretty neat, historic looking. Our server was attentive without becoming bothersome. A nice place to hang out for a rest after walking the streets.

A great spot to stop in for a drink! We didn't eat here, but the beer flights were great and there was live music. A fun ambiance and great for groups. The bartender was super attentive and friendly!

FOOD REVIEW ONLY Galena Brewing Company is located on the northern part of Main Street in downtown Galena. Upon entering, the hostess was a bit off putting and unwelcoming. We were sat at a high top in the main dining area. The inside was rather bare: some brewery equipment in a corner, and some tv screens placed on walls. Our server was very nice but hustling as it must had been the time of day where servers take turns going on break. We saw him running for all the tables in the restaurant. We got waters and ordered all our food at once which he kindly timed out for us. We started with the 1 Lb Pretzel that came with a double serving of cheese as well as some sweet honey mustard. The pretzel portion was huge to say the least! It was definitely the highlight of the meal and great to share! We later got the Mac & Cheese Bites and Brew Haus Cheeseburger. The bites were good but not house made. The burger was rather simple tasting. Overall, the initial impression wasn't great, service & food was good, and atmosphere was lacking.

Solid food and atmosphere. The cocktails left a little to be desired but the beer selection was extensive.

Good atmosphere and beer options. Very reasonably priced beer flights! We asked to share a meal and they divided it up for us which was really nice! There is also a baby changing area in the women's restroom.

Came here to try their flight and have some apps! The waiter was nice, friendly and attentive. There also wasn't a wait so we could sit anywhere. They have a neat view of the brewery equipment that they use to make their in house beer. He gave us some beer flight recommendations. We tried the Farmers blonde, Forbidden Apple, Queen Bee and Hoppy general. I'm a light beer fan. All of them tasted really good i especially enjoyed the Queen Bee as it had lots of hints of honey throughout. If you're in town for a visit definitely try their beer flights.

Really enjoyed our stop here during our stay. The beer selection was good (see Flight picture), the buffalo chicken wings tasted very good and the value was good. You'll enjoy your stop here... great food, service and value. Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Value: 5 Service: 4 If you found this review helpful, please click to show your support.

The beer was great! Service was good. Food was your typical bar food. It's a great place to have a drink whether you're by yourself or with a big group. Next time we'd focus more on beer and definitely get the pretzel!

This review is based on a single vist just for drinks and may be updated later if I return and if I have a opportunity to sample the food. First off the decor was very nice, the seating area was roomy and not too bright and not too dark for a place with limited windows. Just like you would expect for a brew house. Not too loud but probably not a place for kids. They did have a gift shop to take home a few beverages, shirts and glasses. There is room for large groups. Service was a little slow but not troublesome. The server was helpful but not too pushy. We had a couple adult beverages and a sample or two and we like what we tried. From what we saw from others who ordered food it looked good. Decent prepositions. Well worth a visit if you want some indoor seating.

Unfortunately this place is a pass all day long. While the server was friendly and ultimately sat us in a room without the blairring music, the food and beer was mediocre at best. Now I can see why there seemed to be a wait everywhere else except here. I don't think they have fryers here as the cheese curds are baked and they don't have fries. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and beer cheese soup. I also ordered their Hazy IPA and Nut Brown Ale. The food needed seasoning for sure. I had to ask for Tabasco sauce to finish it all. The portion size is generous so we didn't walk away hungry. The beer seems to be brewed for the masses, so it will lack complexity and profile. It served its purpose. The food did come out rather quickly and if you have children it may be a decent place to go. Just temper down any expectations you have and understand that this place is won't knock your socks off. Unfortunately I wouldn't come back here knowing there are a ton of other restaurants in the area.

This was an ok place. Food was underwhelming, the staff was clearly not loving their job, but the beer was ok. Unremarkable ambience.

Obviously assembled by someone who appreciates food. The cucumber slices were just the right thickness - and an ample amount. The slaw, the pork, the cilantro, the sauce, the bun - it all came together for a delicious experience. And the onion rings were lightly battered with thick onions - superb. I didn't take a pic - but Rick enjoyed his brisket. Other customers were raving about the ribs the day we were there. We each had a Mud Run beer and pleasant conversation with the staff. I am seriously planning an extra trip to visit Mom just so I can stop to have a Mud Run lunch on the way.

We discovered Potosi a few years ago and have returned several times for some of our favorites: delicious burgers, cheese curds, and other great food. As far as beers, Cave Ale, Snake Bite, and Tangerine IPA are just a few of our favorites. There are few breweries in the area where we actually get cans to-go, and Potosi is always one of them! The drive to Potosi is gorgeous since it is down in a rugged River cut town. The building is historic and has been beautifully renovated into both a brewery restaurant and interactive museum. We would recommend visiting both for the food/drink AND the family friendly museum! Furthermore, the staff are always welcoming and friendly, making the interpersonal interactions a wonderful part of the visit! And the prices are very reasonable. Make sure to add Potosi to your visit list, and be sure to come with enough time to eat, drink, and check out the beautiful building's museum!
