This is such a big mall it's almost overwhelming. So many huge stores. There is a train station in the basement so you can actually take the train right to it. It's very close to the city center. I would say the only drawback is that because of the train, it is constantly busy, it almost had an airport feel with lots of people hurrying around with suitcases. read more

It is a very very busy place with big mall, with large variety of stores, food court, individual restaurants & a grocery store. Train station on lower level. Biggest issue- lack of women's bathrooms. What ever bathroom you go to there are 3 or 4 stalls & a long line. ALWAYS. Been there at least 20x never without a long line. Very poor planning for a place this big. read more

A clean, well appointed, and pleasant place to shop. Much nicer by comparison than malls in the USA or UK as there are no mobs of young hoodlums about. Many nice chain stores represented along with smaller shops and restaurants. It's a must-see when in Kraków! read more

This is a big mall with everything you'd expect to find in a European mall. It has an excellent location with the train station nearby. Food options here are excellent too. I only gave it four stars though because I found that there is not much to think of that would make this mall stand out from the rest. read more

The Galleria in Krakow is pretty amazing. This was not part of the itinerary while visiting Krakow but since it was part of the train station stop... We decided to stop here on the way back from our walking tour. Back story- We took a short train ride from the airport to the city center of Krakow. And connected is this multi level center that caters to all types of shoppers. The shops and more- This place is enormous with the amount of stores it has. Top brand names as well as local choices. For kids, there was a nice set up with playing zone that looked like a indoor playground. To feel comfortable and hassle free, they have a cloak room where you can leave your outer wear. We did not eat here but there are a lot of choices for snacks, full on meal, or desserts. I liked the stop at this mall. read more

Hi there... I wish I could share that today there was Poland Porsche Club event in front of the Gallery. As we all know the place is Shopping Centre with all stars boutiques,shops and eating places. But in front is event space and today I was surprised what I have seen :) It is great building adjacent to Railway Station and Krakow Central train station too so very important for all people coming in , going out and living in Krakow. It is so convenient to get all you need ad hoc in one place plus entertainment too. read more

The Galeria is fairly stand. It is split over three floors with all the shops you would expect to find. A good selection of clothes shops and shoe shops. There is a food court on the top floor in the middle. At one end you will find a supermarket and electrical store. A good selection of designer bands. There are also plenty of coffee shops and it's quite nice to sit in a window and watch people walking around. The Galeria is air conditioned which is good on a really hot day. It also connects to the main railway station so one of the first things visitors to Kraków see when they arrive by train. For Calgarians Chinook is the go-to Mall or maybe if you're in the northern part of the city you would go to Cross Iron Mills, well these two malls are small compared to Galeria Krakowska. Poland is a place to shop and you can find brand-name stores such as Nike, Ecco to familiar names like Burger King, Sephora and Starbucks or shop local chain stores and other smaller boutiques, 5 floors of shops can't be beat and each floor is more than a block long, plenty of places to eat, food places on every floor. We were in a hotel in Old Town and walked there easily. We only managed to see a small portion of it, if you like to shop then give yourself at least a day here. It's the one place I found a place for green salad! YAY! Travelling in Europe fresh salads were hard to find and there is a place there called GreenIt and it's just salads and wraps with plenty of fresh greens. read more

I would GLADLY give this place 5 stars for having a Great selection of shops and a basic foodcourt BUT TODAY: it says on the website that it is currently open. We went there and nothing is open. On the front door it says With a font as tiny as a bug that this sunday is special and everything is closed. The shopping mall staff should have written this on the website, since on there there is no mention of this, and it still says that it is open. Left ja VERY bad taste in my mouth. This is the biggest and best shoping centre in Krakow. In fact it is so big, it's almost too big. You can spend the whole day there and not realize it. It has been opened in 2006 as a part of the 'New City' project. Currently the are 270 shops located within the centre, 22 restaurants, and a 1400 car parking. The centre is just a few meters from the main railway station, and is connected with it via an underground passage. It's located just 3 mnutes from the town centre. You will find all the famous and mainstream Polish and European brands. In my opinion it is the best place to shop for clothes and electronics in the city. read more

I went to this mall plenty of times and this is probably the most popular shopping mall in Krakow since it is located right in the heart of downtown, 5 minutes away from the Rynek. The mall offers a large selection of stores along with a nice food court with very cheap food, particularly if you are visiting Poland from Western Europe. The mall also offers free wifi throughout the building so you should definitely grab an ice cream or a tea and take advantage of it. This place is also easy to access by public transportation, which I would highly recommend, since you won't have to deal with the parking issue. Also, there is a kantor across the street if you need to change some money. Overall, my experience with Galeria Krakowska was very positive and I would recommend it. Depending on how you leave the central station in Krakow, you could end up filtered into the shopping centre trying to figure out how to get out! The place is massivewhich if you actually intended to end up here is great, you should be able to find everything you need somewhere! You do need to pay for the toilets here, which I found a bit annoying. It is also extremely busy which I find offputting. I would hate to have seen it in the days before Christmas. read more

This is probably no longer the biggest shopping mall in Kraków, but I quite like it anyway (and it is pretty darned big, especially if you include all the shops in the adjacent train station complex). Of course, my favourite place in the centre is MacDonald's. Other places I frequent are Empik (for books, stationery items and concert tickets), Saturn (electrical and electronic goods) and the massive Carrefour supermarket. The little restaurant right near the entrance to Carrefour is great. I can't remember the name of it, but it serves reasonably priced pasta, cakes and paninis. (I have a whole bunch of reviews for Krakow in my folder of drafts so I'm going to post them all at once) It's one of the biggest shopping malls in Krakow (if not the biggest, according to our cab driver). There's a train and bus station right in front of the mall so it's really easy to go to and from here. Plenty of nice cafes (with free wifi) and shopping to visit here. There's a Saturn for your tech and electronic stuff (did you forget a power strip, power adapter, SIM card for your phone?) and a Carrefour for groceries (and booze). There's a Kantor across the street if you want to exchange currency. read more
