We took our toddler to Galey Farm for the Halloween train ride and corn maze. The maze was fun, as was the little petting zoo, but we had to wait 40 minutes in line to take the train, which meant that one of us had to hold our place in line while the other took the toddler to see the animals. There were long line-ups for everything - to get in, to wash your hands and use the port-a-potty, to ride the train, to buy donuts, to ride the hay wagon, to park. For a family outing, we would have liked to spend our time together. They really ought to have times posted on the train tickets, to avoid the long line up. When we finally got on the train, it was very, very loud - we couldn't hear each other without yelling, and some of the decorations were way too scary for a toddler (severed and bloody limbs, for example.) There were only port-a-potties, one of which had no toilet paper, and no sinks with running water - pretty difficult to stay clean with a little one. There was no price for infants listed, so it appears as though babes-in-arms cost as much as toddlers did. It was an alright experience, but not a great value and we won't be back. read more
