This was absolutely thee worst experience I've had while being serviced. As a woman, you EXPECT for mechanics to take advantage of you but it doesn't change the shock factor when someone has the audacity to actually do so. I went in for an oil change on a 2024 / 33k miles. My car is practically still new. I initially received a video of my car suspended in the air, with a technician explaining that everything looks good. Shortly after, I received 4 "critical" recommendations directly to my phone, which included the fuel system, an alignment, brake and transmission fluid.. it gave me the option to add the services onto my appointment or to decline. I did not choose either option as I expected someone to speak with me first. Time passed and my service advisor messaged me asking if I had seen the recommendations... I let him know that I had seen them but I was concerned to see so many issues. At that point he took the time to find me and explain that the recommendations were not actually "critical" but they are simply "recommended" at 30k miles... In my opinion , this should have been communicated before even asking me if I wanted to add these services to my appointment....... It felt like I was being scammed the whole time. My service advisor also told me that my car was sent off for washing and vacuuming.... I am not sure if they vacuumed the OUTSIDE of the car? because the inside was definitely still dusty. (Which is the way I brought it but the point is why would you say my car is being vacuumed and then it was not...?) The service advisor also left a stench behind. I could smell him in my car even after I left When I went to check out, I advised my advisor that I had a coupon.. He then asked to see the coupon so he could take a picture of it with his phone. And he told me next time to present the coupon at the beginning of the service.... WTF does it matter which time I am showing you as long as it's presented BEFORE I PAY? I was informed of the coupon when I booked the appointment, which was available on their website. and THAT representative told me that I did not have to tell the advisor anything because there will be notes of everything discussed... Overall, I felt super violated, misled, and mentally exhausted by the time I left. Also, on the drive home I noticed my car to be a bit wobbly.. I am not pointing any fingers, but the vibe I was given yesterday made me feel like these ppl will tamper with your car! I will be taking my business elsewhere read more

Avoid this place for service. The fuel pump went out on my vehicle (which was still under warranty). Informed them of the issue when I took it in and they came back saying that it was the battery and forced me to buy a new battery before they could check anything else. (battery was tested and working just fine before taking the truck in). After changing the battery, they called back and saying that it was actually in fact the fuel pump that was the issue. When I got the truck back it was obvious that someone had rummaged through the center console and my battery jumper box that had been in my glove box was missing. Only took it here because GM roadside said they would only take it to the closest dealership and that was it. Will never do business with this place again. read more

I had a problem with my car that is too long to explain but in the end the manager picked up the bill. Finally resolved an issue with my car that was not fixed at another dealership and a headache for a couple years. Seems like they list them that way to get you in the door, then tell you "We aren't able to honor the discount listed online." I'll be checking the website to see if the prices change based on the sales manager telling me it was listed incorrectly and they have already taken steps to correct the issue so we will see. Got a Chevy bolt EV 2021 today! I got the full EV used tax credit for $4000. Matt and Kenny helped me out with the purchase. It was a lot longer than expected, but we got the job done. They worked with me on my financials and hooked me up. Matt made me feel comfortable with the purchase. He was really family oriented. Definitely trustable. Kenny helped me on the financial aspect and also hooked up a nice warranty plan. I was really impressed with him. The place is pretty cool. May need a jacket. They have a super nice coffee machine too. I have to give minus one star because they had a nice black smudge on the rim while "servicing" the car and the car wasn't charged when I got there. read more

DO NOT buy a car from Galleria Chevrolet. DO NOT bring your car here for service. This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I don't usually leave reviews--this is actually the first one I've ever written--but the experience was so appalling, I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, the entire operation was disorganized, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful. The staff made it crystal clear that customer service is not their priority. Employees rolled their eyes at me, spoke to me with attitude, and lied to me more times than I can count. The management? Completely useless. They dismissed my concerns and offered no support whatsoever. I brought my car in for service just days after purchase because the air conditioning failed. My service advisor told me she'd update me shortly--just a "couple hours at most." I waited in the service lounge. No updates. No explanation. I didn't get my car back for two full weeks. During that time, I called repeatedly asking for updates. Each time, I was met with empty excuses and dishonesty. In the end, the only reason I even knew my car was ready was because the salesperson contacted my father--not me. When I showed up at the dealership, my service advisor looked at me in shock and asked, "What are you doing here?" I smiled and said, "I'm picking up my car." She had no clue what work had been done. This was my assigned service advisor. I wish that had been the end of it. But no--my permanent license plates never arrived. I signed a contract stating the dealership would provide them. When I showed up on the day my paper tags expired, I was met with more eye-rolls, more lies, and more disrespect. I was essentially told I was on my own. This place is built on lies, excuses, and a toxic attitude. It's a hostile, unwelcoming environment that drags down the Chevrolet brand. I regret ever setting foot here. The irony? Their website boasts: "It is also about our dedicated staff giving a customer service experience that exceeds your highest expectations." That's laughable. They didn't just fall short of expectations--they lowered my expectations for car dealerships altogether. Another gem from their site: "We put you first at the friendliest Chevrolet dealership in Texas." I was never put first. Not second. Not even last. I was told flat-out: "You're on your own." The management didn't care. No one did. So if you're reading this, take my advice: stay away from Galleria Chevrolet. They've damaged my trust in dealerships, and they've embarrassed the Chevrolet name. I hope this review reaches someone in leadership who actually cares, because the current team is doing irreversible damage to your brand. read more

I took my car here for a situation I was having where my radio was malfunctioning on occasion and my backup camera kept saying it needed to be serviced. I asked them to take a look, and was told that before they did anything they'd reach out to me to discuss. Well hours later the service advisor Riston calls me and tells me my car is ready to be picked up. Okay great (or so I thought). When I go to pick up my car, the entire radio isn't working and the backup camera and they have the audacity to tell me that that's just "how it is" sometimes when you mess with the radio. I was livid to say the least! I had quite some words with the manager on duty that day named Ben and if I'm being honest he was Rude AF to me. Basically didn't really care, and kept standing up for the techs mistake saying that it's not their fault......that was, until he knew I wasn't going anywhere until they fixed it, and that was when he tried to negotiate the price of fixing it with me a bit. I left pretty angry, because as I told them, if I knew this was going to happen I would've held off. It wasn't like my radio was actually useless and not working. It's like going into the doctor to get a checkup and coming out having a whole surgery. Like make it make sense! Anyways fast forward.........I reached out to upper management and got in touch with them and explained the situation and they put me in touch with another manager on site (not Ben) who took care of me. They worked with me to resolve the issue and helped me fix the radio and not have to suffer financially, as a result of their mistake. I truly appreciated that, which is the reason for this review. They restored my faith in their dealership service team. Want to give a special shout-out to Riston, as he was the best service advisor, thought the whole ordeal! He was knowledgeable, communicative, and was a problem solver. He wasn't even the one who handled the intake of my car initially or work on it, but he did all he could to make sure I was made aware of the progress and issues both times. read more

This was the worst service experience I've ever had at a dealership. I had an appointment at 7:30 am on Saturday morning and dropped my vehicle off on time. My service manager let me know that, although I made an appointment for a specific repair on my vehicle ahead of time, there was no one there that day that could do that repair. That would have been nice to know ahead of time (certainly prior to dropping my vehicle off). Nevertheless, he told me he would be in communication with me that day with an update on what they found (even if the work itself couldn't be done). I heard nothing on Saturday. On Monday midday I still had heard nothing. I called and texted my service manager multiple times. I left a couple of voicemails throughout the day. Nothing. Around late afternoon, I called the main service line and asked for help, and I was told there was "nothing she could do, because she works in a different building." I asked for a manager -- they put me through but it went to voicemail. I left a voicemail but never heard back from the manager. I kept calling the service area, and around 7 pm I got through to my service manager (totally by chance it seems since I was the one that called). Only to be told that he "really had no update for me." Never in my life have I brought my car into a dealership for service and nearly 60 hours later I don't even have an update on the potential issues. My service manager told me he would call me first thing in the morning with an update. Around noon, I had heard nothing. I called and texted my service manager. Left a voicemail. Nothing. Called the main service line and left a voicemail with a "manager." I heard nothing (this being the second time I had left a voicemail with this person - and I never received a response). Around 3:30 pm I tried calling again and couldn't get through to anyone. Around Tuesday at 6 pm, I finally got through to my service manager. He told me that it was "just a bad battery." So they kept my car for 4 days (while I paid for a rental car) with virtually no communication, only to be told the battery was to be replaced. A simple fix. They were also supposed to perform a 30,000 mile service. When I picked my car up on Wednesday morning, it was clear that they had inexplicably not done the 30,000 mile service, that they had only changed the oil (on the on screen prompts I can see that the air filter was not changed, etc.). Additionally, upon getting in my car, I had a low tire indicator light on. How is this possible leaving the dealership when they were supposed to perform routine service? The light was on when they handed me the keys. At this point, I was done with Galleria Chevrolet and decided to drive to a Discount Tire for service. When I had brought my Tahoe to the Galleria dealership, all tires were fully inflated and working fine. When I got to discount tire, they found a nail in one of the tires. My experience with Galleria Chevrolet was truly awful. This is not the place to bring your vehicle to get serviced. read more

I would never purchase from this dealership again. I bought a new Tahoe and the communication from this dealership is like nothing I've ever experienced. They would not sell the vehicle at the agreed upon price without using their financing. It took five months of me chasing them down with numerous emails and phone calls to have a ten minute paint touch up completed. I sent an online contact request, email, and called 6 times to have finance initiate cancelling my gap insurance after refinancing. They never called me back. I ended up filing directly through the gap carrier for the cancellation after explaining the issue to them. Their GM is very kind and tries to resolve issues, but the rest of the dealership lacks in any type of reasonable communication practices. read more

I purchased my car here, and I highly do not reccomend using them. If I had not been in a situation where I was desperate for a car, I would have walked out and gone somewhere else. When it came to financing, they came back and gave me an interest rate that was double the interest rate my bank quoted me at. Not only were they slimy with financing, but the communication was awful. I left my car with them so they could replace the battery, and the next day they contacted me letting me know my car was ready. After sitting for another 30 minutes, they came back and let me know it was still not ready. This was one of the most frustrating, and exhausting car buying experiences and Galleria Chevrolet made it worse. read more
