Baked Oysters are hands down the best I have ever had in my life. Claire the bartender and crew made us feel like family. A++

Checked out Galliano yesterday for New Orleans Restaurant Week and I'm glad I did! They're offering a 3-course meal for $56 and had one of the larger selections, which is what drew us in. I started with the beet salad (shoutout to our waiter for recommending it over the Caesar, most people don't go for beets, so I knew I had to try it). He didn't lie! It was fresh, flavorful, and the portion was huge. For the entree, I went with the short ribs. Gotta be honest, I wasn't a fan, the beef had a strange aftertaste and there was way too much gravy for me. BUT I tasted my friend's gulf fish and ... yeah, I'll definitely be back for that. Now, the real star of the night? The banana foster bread pudding. It came out steaming and I just finished savoring the last bite as I'm writing this. It was rich, warm, and absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a solid Restaurant Week spot with variety, Galliano is definitely worth a try!

This place has a fabulous view, it is very good with large reservations. I ordered a bee lt salad that was exquisite. Then I ordered a duck with something and something, it was delicious, some pieces very fatty but overall flavor was good, The dessert lt was a chocolate pie that was undercooked. However, the service was great and they took great care of us.

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way back to the hotel. The restaurant is small and it was 3 of us, so we just sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and made our drinks while we waited for our food. The etouffe fries and oysters were delicious!

I had an delightful time at Galliano, I went during restaurant week and they did not disappoint. From the moment of my arrival we were taken care of. The complimentary cornbread was so freaking good. I had the caesar salad, the gulf fish and the crème brûlée for my dessert. Everything came out on time and the waiters were very attentive. The place is rather small but it feels big if that makes sense: I would totally come back,

I came here 7 years ago. It was my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. That hasn't changed. The atmosphere the food the people you cat beat this spot. The service is always friendly personal with out being overbearing. Have a great happy hour deals. Best oysters in town hands down. I love coming here. Last time I came 3 times in one week. Might happen this trip as well. Can't recommend enough

New Orleans is known for their food and rightfully so! This spot was located around the corner from our hotel and had great reviews. We made reservations and were on time ! The reception was warm but hesitate until I confirmed I had a reservation. We were promptly seated. The ambiance was typical quarter...nothing too fancy. We ordered a dozen of the signature baked Oysters and a half dozen of the raw oysters. When we inquired where the oysters came from the stare we got was funny eventually the server said...their local. The raw came first and there were about 3 small/ medium oysters and 3 of the largest oysters I've ever seen. Let me add context...one of my guest is an oyster scientist and he refused to eat them. The baked oysters were over breaded in the planko and the taste was bland. The gumbo was and is a keeper! Exceptional gumbo. The pork chop was very good as well as the red beans and rice and dressing. There was an air of arrogance and "we've arrived" aurora that permeated this place. The service was okay but far from arrival. The energy was just off to me. I've been to numerous restaurants in NOLA from French quarter and beyond but there's something about this place. Geaux see for yourself!

Very friendly staff who are happy to engage and explain the menu. Restaurant has an upscale feel to it as well. Food was very good, although on the pricy side. Definitely get the baked oysters!

Staff was so friendly that my date asked if something were wrong. This is a great place to take someone who doesn't live in New Orleans but wants to eat New Orleans food without a wait. Drinks are superb and it's a great warehouse district location

We are local and finally made our way to this place. They were completely packed during restaurant week! They had one of the best menus so we went in on a Friday night. The food was really fresh and tasty. All of the servers were collectively helping everyone. What really impressed me was the owner/manager himself literally jumping in and contributing to everything. He was cleaning tables, greeting customers, delivering food and drinks- literally everything. It shows that he has a pulse on everything happening and that is very rare to see. This is definitely a hands on establishment and we will definitely be visiting again.

A friend said they really enjoyed the food here so we decided to give them a try. The reservations were sold out and we sat at the bar. They turned out to be an amazing experience as the bartender was witty and sweet! We both started with the seafood gumbo and added Crystal hot sauce. It was delicious! Then I had the baked oysters while hubby had the pork chop. Oysters were excellent and hubby said his HUGE pork chop was just the way he liked it - a bit on the salty side. The rice and beans were also very tasty with a slight sweetness to them. We finished with the banana foster bread pudding. Absolutely yummy!

Pineapple cocktail- not too sweet which was nice!

My photos are horrible but the food was very good! This was my first visit to NOLA and my first meal here. We were a party of 6 and everyone said it was the perfect "taste of New Orleans"! The pork chop had some heat but my friend said it was very tasty. The burger was Wagu so ...delicious. The smoked shrimp she said was fantastic. The only item that was not good was the chicken. It was very dry. Everyone loved their cocktails and dessert of course. Our waiter was really fun and very accommodating...he only works once a week so some of the items he was not sure about but he got the answers and was very attentive. The ambiance was comfortable but pretty loud. It was hard to hear everyone at our table but if you were at a smaller table it probably is fine. All in all we had a great time and are pleased with our meal and most of all the service

Galiano We made reservations to another restaurant down the street. As we passed Galiano's it caught our attn and we became unsure of our reservation. Sure enough, we get to our reservation, and we didn't like the ambiance and didn't feel comfortable, we looked at each other and just knew we wanted to go to the first restaurant we saw. We got up , politely said we weren't staying and bolted out. We walked happily to Galiano's not even knowing what food or anything but it looked inviting . Just as we thought , very inviting from the moment we walked in. Joshua greeted us and sat us wherever we felt comfortable and just took our drink order and explained the menu and the specials. He treated us as if we were the only ones in the restaurant, but he did that not only with us, but also with all the other tables . Highly recommend And definitely will be back

In the restaurant business, we all have a switch: once the doors open, it flips. Until then, you're seeing people exactly as they are. This team is genuine. Hands down. Yes, I know, I'm technically here for a king cake. Standing in line for a king cake from a famous fried chicken company almost feels satirical. But watching the entire team sit down together for a meal an hour before service told me everything I needed to know about the leadership and the values of this company. People matter here. You can see why the sandwiches are as good as they are. You can feel why the king cake is worth the wait. This team operates like a family; kind to one another, intentional, and connected. The food is made with care because the people are cared for. I'm not here to review the food (which is phenomenal) or the king cake. I'm here to review the brand. Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (one being only 2 years old), and because of that they changed our table type from a 4-top to a 5-top and made us wait an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.
