I am a School Counselor at the highest poverty, elementary school in Gresham. We are a very busy, high-needs school. I love my job but have been struggling organizationally with it as I have been working in a small room with piles of office supplies, therapeutic tools, paperwork, clothes, shoes and games stacked high. It was a chaotic environment where I could never find anything when I needed it, and kids were always tripping over things. It was stressful and I often found myself dreaming about "if only I had shelves....." Then Kitchen Concepts came into my world. Dave heard my plea of desperation. He came out to my place of work and saw the need. He measured and designed a beautiful plan that included many shelves, drawers, two desks and all the storage I need to succeed. And the best news? He told me he wanted to donate all the materials and the labor. This undoubtedly would have costs thousands of dollars but he decided to donate everything as he saw the real need of a local school. Dave told me that due to ongoing projects, he and his right-hand man John may not be able to complete all the finishes, minor details and fine-tuning of this project due to time constrictions. I totally understood. John and Dave (two of the kindest and most genuine guys you will ever meet) came down to my school to install the cabinets and literally didn't take a single break. They worked like crazy for HOURS and did every every sort of finish, minor detail, fine-tuning and touch-up possible. The outcome was (and is) absolutely stunning. Immediately the quality of my work with kiddos has improved due to the beautiful welcoming space, the ability to find things when I need them and a calming feeling for students as opposed to a chaotic one. I have had Crowleys do two of my homes at separate times. In about 2008 they replaced the counter…read moretops in my home in West Linn installing a grey granite that replaced white 5" square ceramic tile. Due to the cabinets also being white the white tile was just TOO much along with the stainless appliances. Their system of using digital cameras to measure the existing counters resulted in just 3 days to remove the ceramic tile and install new counters in the kitchen and dining room, which was a large square footage. The result was amazing and down time was minimal. When we bought an older home in Tigard in 2013 I gutted the kitchen down to studs and rearranged it. We installed all new cabinets and Crowleys supplied a type of stone that made the new kitchen a showpiece of the remodeled home. Again their work was amazing and still perfect and they supplied a stainless faucet as a convenience to us. I can recommend Crowleys for anytype of granite or kitchen stone heartily.

Purchased and installed granite countertops throughout the house, a few months ago. The installers…read morebroke a behind the sink support piece, asked me if I wanted it, I said yes... WTF? Crowleys fab'd all material for backsplash except they went thicker on my kitchen behind the sink pieces. Three 23 year olds came and installed. Nothing special on the work. Now it's too thick, all others look good but for some reason it seemed like they were too lazy to cut the kitchen backsplash correctly. And if they tell you it's because of the length, and it's fragile, then cut more pieces and bond them together! Duh. Also, when I called to buy back my remnant, was absolutely treated like garbage from the gal who answered. Apparently, I put extra work on her by asking her to run out to the back and give me a quote, then they wanted a delivery charge to make a special trip, oh BTW, they had to make a special trip anyway to give me my 24"x3" piece. Garbage company,, do your self a favor and look around, plenty more places of quality to choose from. Never again.

After reading all the…read more5-star reviews (which influenced my decision to go with this company), I am baffled by the terrifically poor wall painting job Christine's painting contractor provided for us. That, on top of his over the top rudeness to myself and my spouse, just made this job one of the most unpleasant home improvement projects we have done. We had to have the painter return (which was the last thing we wanted) and Christine to rectify the numerous painting errors. He, once again, wouldn't even acknowledge us. Yes, there was a language barrier, but he never once greeted us when coming into our home, rushed through the job (he got "done" two days ahead of schedule) and did one of the messiest wall painting jobs I've seen. Yes, the cabinets look nice, but with all the cabinet refinishing companies out there one would think the finished job should be close to perfect. The owner never checked with us during the job and when we started to express our displeasure towards the end, she offered numerous excuses, defending her painter. We do have a lg Pride flag on our house and we are thinking perhaps the painter was homophobic. We don't readily go to that, but this guy's attitude stumped us. Christine did correct the problems but overall, esp with the amount of $ we spent, we highly regret not going with a different company.
