I normally use but mark down. They are currently loaded up with holiday stock, including lots of different gifts sets and such. Overall, it was just really chaotic and it seemed like the staff was very overwhelmed. The cashier that I had charged me for something I didn't want and luckily I noticed so we were able to take care of it right then and there but she seemed to be struggling.

I was so uncomfortable and in pain after trying more than a dozen bras. Then she rudely insisted they did have bras my size, and she intimated it was my fault because I didn't want the plain, ugly, huge, old lady bras. Why try to put a C into a G?! The reality is they only carry pretty bras in small sizes, and they have a negligale assortment of anything in a larger size. I'm 60; I know my bra size. I know I can have properly fitted AND pretty bras. Later that day I went home with EIGHT of them from another store who has a wider range of sizes, colors, and styles, and was NOT demeaning or insulting or blaming the customer for their shortcomings. Dillards lost a customer for life. It was the most humiliating, degrading, and frustrating experience I've ever had shopping. Whoever was working on Tuesday, May 12th around noon -- shame on you.

The Holiday Light Parade in Uptown…read more This is the best light parade I have seen in NM. Every year I have managed to miss this Abq event, and always tell myself that "next year I will go for sure." Well I finally made it and it was worth going to. I was worried about the park and ride. I know sometimes park and rides are a pain, but this one was actually quick, easy, and FREE. Many of the stores were allowing restroom use. There were local shops selling hot coco, and some were open for holiday shopping. There were a lot floats and characters that the kids love seeing like Star Wars, Micky Mouse, The Grinch, and Santa of course. My pictures don't do it justice, but we will be adding this to our list of local events that we don't want to miss. Getting back was a breeze because they had all the buses lined up waiting for us to go back.

I have been waiting in line for 45 minutes to get in. Opening Day! I can see really cute stuff…read morethrough the window. This is like the Japanese version of the dollar store. They are called 100 yen stores there. The prices all start at $1.75 and up. There are conversions charts all over for you to figure out the prices. Ok! I finally got in after an hour standing outside in the cold. I shopped for a 1/2 hour and then stood in line snaking through the aisles foe 2 1/2 hours to check out! Yes, it was an opening day 4 full hour adventure! Call me crazy. Got lots of Sanrio stuff, interesting food items, and kitchen gadgets. Would I do it again? Old Town oozes charm and culture. You can visit a historic chapel, roam the many cute shops or grab something to eat at one of the restaurants. There's a lot of really interesting Native American keepsakes and art to check out as well. You also never know what could be going on here - I happened to stumble into a quincenera and visited around Day of the Dead, so there was some really neat decor all around. My friend had a bunch of Native American shops bookmarked and they were all in this general area so we came to do multiple things at the same time. The shops here are closer to the reservation with lots of Native American artists so it is much more affordable than the same thing in Santa Fe. It is a bit touristy but we are tourists so we enjoyed it. Many shops had unique items that were hard to find and even though it was mainly for show I loved seeing the dried chili everywhere. The area has legit history and age and it was great being able to see and do so much without moving our car. Parking was easy and from the town square you can get to many different shops, restaurants, and attractions. The church was a nice fast stop, but I liked the exterior more than the interior. The vibe and architecture are perfect American Southwest and we enjoyed our time here. There was also a Pokemon card shop I grabbed some cards for the kids from!

The employee "Hillary" (working the self checkout) was able to quickly fix a price issue I was having on a product. I ask about the phone number that the computer wanted, she explained the Target app & how it saves money for the customer. She also explained how the Target credit card would help me save even more, but wasn't pushy about it. She is one of the reasons I choose this department store over others & keep coming back. Store is clean, well stocked, great products, large variety/selection of items, & good prices. Parking lot is big enough for an RV & right off I-25.
