I played my first Magic game at this store and a super cool guy came in to play with us and he was even a judge for their Magic tournaments which was super great since he was incredibly helpful for me learning the game. The ambiance and decor is amazing, I love their selections of drinks and gachapon. And their prices aren't too bad (as far as I know for Pokemon as I have no clue what's their average for Magic) I literally drive 30 minutes to this store just because they are that great! Last week I placed an order for model train cars and after a few days I noticed they had not shipped. I called the shop and they informed me the items were no longer in stock but they were trying to get them from elsewhere. Cutting a long story short I cancelled the order and ordered something else in its place. They refunded my money before I even got off the phone with them. Within 30 minutes of placing the new order, I got an email saying the item was in the process of being shipped. The man I spoke with was kind, he listened, he thanked me and was great. Not a single item in the store had a visible price tag. When we asked about pricing, we were told to look it up ourselves on their website by typing in the item numbers. (Seriously?) While on the site, I noticed they had a 4th of July sale going on. When I asked the employee about it and other basic questions, he seemed visibly annoyed and irritated. Also important to note: even though Yelp says this store is wheelchair accessible, it's absolutely not. Our son uses a manual wheelchair and had a hard time maneuvering through the aisles. I honestly don't see how a power chair could even get through the narrow entry area let alone the narrow turns in some of the isles. My husband and I have visited hobby shops all over the U.S. because he loves model car building, and this is the only one we'll never return to. Businesses thrive on customer relationships, and people remember how you make them feel. If you want to feel welcomed, respected, or even acknowledged, stay away from this place.

Alot of the customers here are part of the Markham Park remote control airplane clubs. The thing that drew my main attention were the monster high end remote control trucks at the front of the shop. The employee, Hyme, assisted me with some common questions regarding the battery life and pricing which was $800 - $1200 based on many factors. They do offer smaller not as powerful versions of the trucks for under $500. The back of the shop had a super cool train set on display with horns honking and moving trains on the track. Store is always clean and organized which unfortunately is not the norm amongst comic books shops. For the most part they are friendly and willing to answer any question. But what really sets this store aside is how organized and fully stocked they always seem to be. If in Miami and looking for local comic book shop to spend some time at then make sure it's Korkas.
