This is a unique store, packed with, as the name suggest, games, gadgets and gifts. Every board game you can imagine is stacked on the towering shelves, along with figurines, a few practical joke items and a few other items along the same lines.
The range of board games was very impressive, with classics such as chess, including a limited edition Star Wars version, through to more recent innovations such as the Gossip Girl game, 'Never have I ever'. Aimed at ages 14 and up, this game invites players to answer questions and win each others allowances by doing so.
I'm not really into board games, but I was amazed at the range on offer here and have taken note for any future children's birthday presents I need to purchase. As far as I could gather, the store is owned and operated by an elderly couple. The woman was lovely, chatting to me as I wandered through the store, providing me information about the games I was looking at and pondering aloud the necessity of footwear. read more
