The shop spreads over 2 large rooms with one being given over almost entirely to models. As an avid model maker myself, this is absolutely brilliant and they have a really good range. I believe this is now part of the Toymaster chain and they have everything from the big budget stuff to pocket money toys. Its new facelift this year really has improved it, giving it a fresh breath of life into the store. I really used to love Toys R Us as a child, I was only allowed to visit once or twice a year to get christmas and birthday and I loved going round with all the toys. As an adults toys and games still have they're appeal but to me Toys R Us has lost it, catering for cheap quality imported toys to sell easily and it really does annoy me. And the prices aren't competitive at all. Still good for board games and often has 3 for 2 on different brands.

There is easy parking and the store is really easy to navigate. Staff are friendly and helpful and are also very informative on the products on offer. Not the cheapest toy store in town when you have Tesco's Homebase and the entertainer nearby. They also seem to not have everything in stock and tend to sell out of all the newest and most wanted toys so quickly and take ages to get stock back in.
