They had a massive variety of games and it seemed like it was always busy every time I walked by! The Nintendo Switch birthday party event for a 10 yr old and his buddies! Booking was easy, professional and organized as was the night of. Kids loved it, Gametruck took care of all the set up and helping the kids throughout the 1.5 hours. Parents get to pick games and whether or not to allow playing online ahead of time. Kids chose between playing in a group on the TV, playing individually on the preloaded switches or playing with friends connected together on switches. read more

I wasn't sure about renting a game truck for my daughter's 12th birthday party, but It was a hit! The 17 girls and 2 boys had a blast, with Just Dance being especially popular. (I even tried it and loved it.) Minecraft, Jeopardy, Bowling and Starwahl were also popular. I hadn't expected the truck to be so nice inside. The game host Matt was great! He checked with me beforehand to remove any mature games, and helped the kids find games that would appeal to them. I especially appreciate the care that the sales rep Kristi and her team took before the party to scope the area and find a parking solution for the truck. Our streets our narrow, but with the team's foresight, we were able to come up with a successful solution, involving parking in front of a nearby school. I was worried that gaming wouldn't be interactive or active enough, but with multiplayer consoles, and physical games such as Just Dance, there was plenty of opportunity for friendship bonding and exercise. We had a terrific experience with Game Truck! We didn't actually book the truck for our event, but rather, we had a "Switch" party. Didier came to our house with 8 Nintendo Switches, and had everything set up and running smoothly in the family room within minutes. He was super with the kids! We hooked 4 of the Switches to our TV screen, then some kids used that, and some preferred the handhelds only, to increase their "surprise attack" play method. My son and his friends played together with some of the Switches, while my daughter and her friend used two of them separately to have their own game time. I would highly recommend this company. The GameTruck experience was fantastic for the kids. My son wanted the Fortnite package so I am unclear on the other gaming options. I can only speak to Fortnite experience. We had an AMAZING experience. I HIGHLY recommend this company, especially for large groups. They even have Fortnight!!!!! We had a truck full of 10 year old boys who all had a blast! 4 kids on each TV (4 TVs) so everyone could play. The time flew by for the boys. The staff is incredibly kind. The truck was super clean. The other options like laser tag and the flying circus for large groups is very expensive. This allows you to have a large group at an affordable price. From a parents perspective it couldn't have been better. The kids were in the truck the entire time. We didn't have to leave our house. Our house isn't big enough to host as many kids that were here, but we used our garage to have pizza and cake. A mess free house on top of a highly successful birthday party was a major bonus too. read more

We used Game Truck for our son's 10th birthday party! He and his buddies love XBox, Nintendo, etc. and the game truck had it all! We had 10, 10 year old boys, and there was plenty of room! They had a blast! The truck arrived right on time, and parked right next to our house. We booked it for 1.5 hours, but ended up asking to add another 30 minutes. The host was great! I reserved the game truck for my son's 9th birthday yesterday. It was a blast not only for the kids but for the parents also. While the kids were in the truck playing, us parents were relaxing and taking in the quiet time. It's such an amazing idea and I'm sure we will be booking again next year! This was our second time having Gametruck come to our home for our sons birthdays AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Not only did my boys LOVE the truck my husband & I loved that it was such an easy party to host. Couple snacks before for kiddos then they disappeared into the truck for 90 SUPERVISED minutes then in for dessert & party ends! We were extremely disappointed with our Game Truck experience. After much research, we ordered laser tag party for our sons 9th birthday. I could have used any company, but I chose Game Truck since they offered more guns than the other companies. They were suppose to have 16 guns ready for our event, they brought 8. They only had 4 tiny blow up bunkers to hide behind. They had to use my extension cord, and when we asked about what we had reserved, they were quite unprofessional, and rude. The "boss" who called and spoke to us was less than desirable with his communication skills. I DON'T recommend this company for anything. To add to my frustration, the guy running the games sat there on his cell phone the who time, as any typical teenager would. We paid almost $500 for this POOR experience. This will never happen again, and I highly recommend avoiding this company. Our's was out of the Houston area. read more

Rented the GameTruck for my sons 7th birthday and everything about the experience beat our expectations. He had 13 friends attend, and since up to 16 can play simultaneously, everyone could play without waiting and the space wasn't cramped. The game coach was patient and knowledgeable and truly seemed to enjoy being there to help the kids. We had enough space in our driveway for the truck, it didn't need to be on the curb as I initially thought. The kids barely left the truck for the entire two-hour period! Great idea for a winter/indoor party for active young kids when poor weather is always a factor. read more

Booking was easy and it was great to be able to limit games to those appropriate (much harder to do at a brick & mortar gaming place). No need to argue about whether or not they can play inappropriate games because they remove them from the wall (based on your input) before the kids enter the truck. read more

This was so much fun! My son requested it for his 8th birthday party, and it was a huge hit. All the kids had a great time, as did some of the adults. There was a great variety of age appropriate games that made it easy to satisfy lots of different age groups. The staff was also exceptional - super friendly and so easy to work with. Hired truck for 8 year old birthday party and it was a big hit. I've been told by my son he wants the same party next year which says a lot. The booking was easy, truck arrived early and fit in our 2-car back to back parking spot. (Would require more if parallel parking) Ian, our coach, set up a few games and we removed the ones we didn't want. Kids were all thrilled. Minecraft was a 4-player game which was great as it was fully utilized. Only change I would make would be to have more copies of the 2-player games but given the wide selection of games (must have been 100 to choose from) I understand that's not always possible. They did have the portal games too like Skylanders and Lego Dimensions. Also offered tablets for kids who wanted to play alone. The cost was on par with what you'd pay for an on-site party anywhere but with the bonus that you can leave the kids to the coach for a while and unwind in the house away from the craziness that is a hoard of 8 year old boys.
