At first I was not impressed. As an administrative assistant I have worked with a lot of closing attorney's in the 8+ years of my profession, and it is a little unsettling when your first conversation with the pre-closer to a transaction states that she is, "new," and then a week later you come to find out that said pre-closer is no longer employed with the company. That being said, once I was able to connect with the actual pre-closer for the file everything ran very smoothly. The lady who answers the phone at the front is not the friendliest person in the world, and it is very annoying when I tell you exactly who I am, where I am calling from, what property I am calling from, who I am calling for, and who I am trying to reach, you proceed to ask me to repeat everything I just said, not one time when I called, but every time I called. It would have been much more expedient to have the contact information for the pre-closer directly, but I guess the company policy is to direct you to the front so they can direct your call to them. Would have saved me a lot of mouth time and time overall, but none the less, here we are. Transaction close, the closing attorney, Andrew Grattan, was very nice! Very professional, friendly atmosphere in spite of what he was dealing with at the time with another closing. He made it a very pleasurable experience for everyone involved and answered any and all questions before moving forward. One of those closing attorneys that you could be confident in making sure your client was full informed of anything and everything when they walked out of the building in at worst case scenario where you could not be there. read more

Jinny Cruz was not professional whatsoever throughout this process. To start, our team tried reaching out to her daily and received no responses. This caused us two major problems in our property sale. For one, she didn't send us the closing letter from our HOA early enough so we could make an adjustment and contact our hoa about the fees which then caused me as the seller $1000. Second, she did not once notify us that the seller would be doing a mail in closing even though she fully was aware that we were closing on our new house on the same day. We literally found out as we were filling up the moving truck to move out. If our seller wasn't so flexible, we wouldn't have been able to close until the following week and we would be homeless for the weekend and would have to pay additional fees to keep the moving truck. Stay away from Ganek PC if you can. read more

This was the worst closing experience I have ever had. I have had four in the past 3 years. It was totally unprofessional and incompetent. What was supposed to be an easy cash sale with a two week closing drug on for a month due to incompetence on their part. They sighted they did not have the information they needed which was provided to them including having a survey redone that was already given to them. The laughable part was they were the closing attorney on the property when I bought it. I was told to my face that I lied to an associate about the status of the LLC that the properties name was in. I did NOT! To tell the client that they are liars is grossly unprofessional. Mimi McCain who was responsible for handling the closing hung up on my real estate agent and on the day of the closing she and her assisting associate choose not to do the closing themselves but handed it off to another associate instead. The check was cut to the LLC and I had an issue getting it accepted at Morgan Stanley. I told the associate to sit tight I was working on it. I did get MS to accept the check only to find out Mimi had had the check voided and never bothered to call or email sighting that I had not provided them with the proper LLC documentation as they requested. At which point I was called a liar. Two words: incompetent and unprofessional and I paid them almost $7000 to be treated like this!!!! read more

I recently sold our family home with my two siblings. I choose Ganek PC on Ashford-Dunwoody Road because I had a positive experience with them a few years ago. This was a different closing attorney and staff, so it was a big mistake. The only communication before the closing consisted of many automated emails and one email from an employee that was no longer with the company at closing. The closing went too fast to read anything or ask questions. The settlement statement had figures left off or incorrect on both sides. The first page of the statement included the wrong addresses for two of the sellers and the buyer. All of this information had been provided because I called to confirm that it was received. The worst error was when I received my check with my name and another person's address on the check. After the closing, I called and left a message that day. I left messages for three more business days without a response. When I finally talked to somebody, I worked with them for two days to fix the errors on the first page of the settlement sheet. I sent the corrected sheet to the other two sellers, the buyer and my real estate agent. Unless you want no communication from start to finish and accurate information is not important to you, pick another company to close your house. read more

Well, I closed last December and I've waited this long to write a review as it's taken that long for me to cool off! If you're ready for a firm that is lazy and not informative...you've picked the right one with these folks! If there was any communication "I" was the one doing it EVERY step of the way. I would send emails asking for something and they would not address the concern, which I wholeheartedly believe that they don't even read them or read them thoroughly! In fact, we had a closing date set up and never closed that date nor did I get a call/text/email advising of such. I actually sent an email the day after the supposed closing date that stated "I guess we're not closing yesterday!" I never got my settlement agreement until I asked for it and it had commission of a few thousand dollars that was not supposed to be on there period as the buyer was not acting in an agent capacity in this transaction. There were NUMEROUS other issues, but the icing on the cake was when I didn't get my disbursement of funds literally until a few weeks after the second or third closing date (again their fault.) They had an on-line vendor's portal that was to be used to input bank account information, routing number, etc. -which I filled out as I was directed by Ganek. So, here comes the closing date and no $$$ after checking my bank account MANY times over the next few days. I had called and emailed daily and finally found out that they haven't used that service in months! Great...now I have my sensitive bank info out there somewhere and they had the most flippant attitude about this and NO apologies given. It is incredible that there are any good reviews on these folks. Even literally today I am handing an issue of where they had made a mistake regarding "paying" property taxes and I get a bill...so I'm not sure if they did. I emailed the atty. Brandon on March 1st with no reply (should not come as a surprise) and then emailed him again today asking if that was an oversight or intentional. Shaking my head. Please do your homework when a closing firm is mentioned by the real estate folks! read more

Do NOT do business with Ganek Wright Minsk PC, because they will steal your escrow money and they will denied any wrong doing. Stay clear from this firm if you know what's good for you. We have hired "Ganek Wright Minsk PC" as our escrow agent on a real estates matter in Atlanta, Georgia. I have entrusted my $1000 to their escrow services for the earnest money deposit on a property. The real estates deal did not go through and we did NOT have time to request my $1000 escrow money to be returned back to us yet. But, when we did requested for our escrow fund to be return back to us. They said that they have already released the fund to someone else without my consent, verification or authorized by us. It seems like just anyone can just walk-in to their office with a T&R without any verification between two persons and release the funds to just about anyone like what happened to our escrow funds. We have entrusted our safeguarded funds at their firm and now they want to brush us away when we request for our escrow money to be returned back to me. Is this how "Ganek Wright Minsk PC" does business and treats their clients that way when a funds disbursement went wrong? It sounds like a unethical business practices at this firm to tell all their clients to go away or to take a hike after wrong doing and not assisting their clients to retrieve or recover missing escrow funds on their mistake. The reason we waited 14 months to request for my escrow earnest money is because we were extremely busy at work and we know my escrow earnest money is in a safe place with them like having our money in a bank. I guess we were wrong about their services that they have provided us. The bottom line is that they did an unauthorized, illegal and improper disbursement of our escrow funds without our acknowledgment. If someone fraudulently withdrawal money from someone else account in a bank, that bank will take full responsibility and reimburse the account holder for the missing money. But Ganek Wright Minsk PC WILL NOT accept their responsibility for their action and their unethical behavior. We also asked them in good faith. AGAIN, Do NOT do business with Ganek Wright Minsk PC, because they will steal your escrow money and they will denied any wrong doing. I had to deal with Tammy Brown from Ganek PC. My realtor has been doing business with this firm so we used it for a real estate transaction that did not go through. Now after a few weeks of me not getting my earnest money back, I called them and was told that they mailed it out on a different address that was listed on my check. Right away I told Tammy that I told my realtor that that was a previous address and to give them my current one. Sure enough my realtor gave them the correct address a few days before and was able to show me an email proving it. Tammy then said that she will mail it Monday morning. Its now Friday and I still haven't received my earnest money check. I called Ganek again and again had to deal with Tammy. She said that she mailed it out on Tuesday. I said that its now Friday and I asked if there is any tracking number or any means for me to find out what happened to it. She said that there is no tracking number since its usps. I asked what guarantee could I get to make sure that its been mailed. She laughed and said that "I just have to take their word for it." Wrong answer since it seems that "their word" has been very inaccurate and does not mean anything to me by now. I told her as much and at this point, she began shouting and was really clearly upset over the phone. I thanked her for the "excellent way" that she treats her customer. I feel that the way she treated me over the phone isn't the right way of treating customers, specially customers that are well within their right to ask about money that has not been returned to them. I don't believe that I was causing them any inconvenience, I deserve to know specially since its been a month since they haven't returned my money. I would never recommend this company, Tammy might just be one employee of a hundred but she ruined the whole experience and would never go to this firm again. read more
