We started with their Focacceria di Nostra Produzione, a selection of soft focaccia breads, including several filled variations stuffed with mushrooms/peppers. The Insalatona Licanzias was a salad of seasonal fruits and vegetables including cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, tomatoes, and strawberries, lightly dressed with balsamic vinegar. A classic Sardinian dish was Pane Frattau, a "lasagna" made of sheets of pane carasau layered with tomato sauce and topped with two soft-cooked eggs. For our mains, Tagliata di "Scottona" di Gallura was a steak of local beef, simply seared and flavored with rosemary; and my favorite dish was the Procetto Arrosto--roasted suckling pig with juicy meat and crispy skin, served with roasted potatoes. Overall, the food here was on point, and the service was friendly too. By the time we left, a line had formed outside, and lots of people were waiting for tables.

I thought we ordered a lot of food but we devoured everything. Our waitress that evening was super attentive and friendly! Great service! The second time was sort of a miss. We Ordered the steak again and asked for rare and it wAs cooked well . That was a disappointment. We also ordered the baked cheese and fig but thought The pears went a lot better with the cheese. The asparagus and squash were okay . Wish they would've seasoned it more. The tiramisu wasn't my fave because they added orange peel but overall our first time was definitely a lot better. Black pasta with seafood--my wife voted this one as the best one she had during our vacation in spain and Italy and she had quite a few :) Gnocchi with lamb ragu--this one was a flavor burst enriched with deep flavor of lamb ragu, perfect dinner choice. Ravioli (Culurgiones)--this was the best dish for us, we had it two times at our visits. Filled with potatoes which is very common choice for filling in Sardinia. Served with rich sauce, octopus tentacles and pistachios. Absolutely brilliant. Pairs with Vermentino wine like no other :) Desert--coconut cream panna cota --rich and creamy served with nectarine was delicious however I would break the flavor with something more acidic and citrusy for a better balance. We had visit few more places for food in Olbia but the vote stays for Piperita PAtty as number ONE for us. If you have 10 Euros to spend on breakfast on the Emerald Coast, this is the place to go. I…read morewouldn't exactly say that spending 10 Euros on a shot of espresso, a croissant and orange juice is good value for money, but the orange juice is freshly squeezed and the location is unbeatable. As you sit, sipping on your coffee (or wine, or cocktail, if you happen to be there later in the day), you can watch the comings and goings of Porto Rotondo's marina. The boats are super-luxe and the people are dressed to match, be it in designer nauticalia or completely OTT rhinestone-studded sportswear that the Italian jetset are so prone to wear. Even the Porto Rotondo workers have uniforms that most of us would be happy to have in our wardrobes. Gelateria del Molo is also an established gelateria with almost 60 years in the trade and a smart little red golf cart with a wicker basket on the back for local deliveries. Highly recommended.
