I picked up a small breakfast here in the morning. I had the Schinkengipfel, which is a savoury ham-and-cheese croissant, but very buttery and one of the best I've had.
The Vanillegipfel was a sweet accompaniment. The pain-au-chocolat is all over Europe, but this is a twist with smooth, fragrant vanilla cream instead of chocolate. It was sweet but light and fresh.
