I had the greatest surprise experience! I was running errands and called to take anyone today, late afternoon and I drove over to learn I had a guy! I had a great cranberry complimentary drink from a wonderful selection while I was waiting a few minutes for my appointment time. This was the best yet. My nails are perfectly done, with attention to every detail of smooth nails and well trimmed with glossy fresh color with wonderful top coat! I never expected such an amazing hand massage that made my day come alive late afternoon! I always got a brief slight limp hand/ wrist massage here and other places, but I have to tell you, Andy is the best!! Amazing manicure with time spent in details of each nail and the well placed massage on hands and wrists made me feel so happy and relaxed!! Honestly, have never thought such a fabulous experience was possible in such a short time! Amazing! I've always gotten BIAB; I came in needing a refill and they filed it all off and tried to convince me to do hot gel because my nails are "long". My nails aren't long. And no other nail tech has said that hot gel was better. She agreed to do as I asked. However, I was still mad all the drilling had been done. A few of my nails are crooked and places in my French aren't saturated with color evenly. Two nails have a jagged file edge. There was no hand massage. When I checked out, my French manicure was an additional $30!!! Their website says $5-25. I've never paid more than $15 for French. There was a charge for "length". I suspect this place makes suspicious upcharges for whatever they want. I'll be surprised if this manicure lasts longer than a week and a half. I'll update accordingly. read more

Very disappointed. My daughter has gone here several times and has been very happy. This last time she went on January 10th, she used her own birthday money to get beautiful nails done. Two days later two nails started lifting off. We went back and the woman was supposed to put them back on. A day later one of the nails completely fell off. It's horrible, because she used her own money. It wasn't cheap, it was $95. And she had these nails on for only one week before on completely fell off. I really wish the woman would've fixed them correctly. I feel so bad for my 15 year old daughter. Now she is out $90 and missing a nail. Very disappointed. read more

Really love the way my nails look. My dip powder nails last 3 weeks minimum and I love that. They have an immense color and polish selection, which I love. It took me a little while to find the nail tech and pedicure tech that I love because some of them are not as good and rush thru the services but I'm glad I found my go-to people. I don't love that they charge to take off the dip powder because most other nail salons do not charge when you're getting a repeat service. I also don't like that a manicure isn't included in the natural dipping nail service. Not used to that because every other salon I've been to includes that in their $55 service. I also always wonder why my price changes $5-$10 more when I'm doing the same exact service every single time. That's kinda frustrating. read more

Don't go here!! Dear Owner: fire your inexperienced front clerk. Turned a new customer away. Big NO NO! Horrible customer service!! My first time here. New customer and told me it would be an hour wait with no appt. A girl walked in with NO appt and asked for pedicures for her mom and herself but mom was not there. She was taken back immediately to get pedicure and I asked since I was physically there why they couldn't take me since the mother was NOT there!! They refused and said it would be an hour. Bye! Bad customer service and will tell everyone I know NOT to go here!!! Just lost a lot of business!! read more

I'm very disappointed on how my nails turned out at this place. I've gone once before so I went back and wanted a bright color. She said she couldn't go over the blue with any of the colors I showed. She kept telling me to do shellac and I told her it always peels on me she said no that's not right shellac lasts longer than any of them. Finally found a pink that she recommended. Everyone at my work said it didn't look good and was uneven and to go back so I did. She ended up putting a yellow over with shellac like she recommended. Less than a week it was peeling. I tried twice to come in to fix it and they could never get me earlier because she wasn't working that day or she was booked but I don't understand why another tech can't repair it. Looks awful now I'm going to go buy full price again for somewhere else to fix it. Waste of 50 bucks. Never again. read more

Their website clearly states that to remove dip nail polish it's $10. They even told my daughter when they set her down that it would cost $10. However, when my daughter went to check out they charged her $15 and told her she had acrylic on her nails which she did not. They took advantage of her being a minor and overcharged her. I would recommend going down the street to the Nail Kitchen!!! read more

I went with my DIL and we got right in for both pedicures, 1 manicure, and a refill on nails. Service was incredible. Of course this was on a Tuesday and at 9am so it wasn't the peak period. I wanted to try a new place since having no luck finding the right nail salon since moving here 2 years ago. I thought, wow 5.0 this place must be good. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Requested a gel French manicure with shellac and it literally started peeling off my nails two days later. I really don't get it. On top of it, I strongly believe when nail salons use the tool (which sometimes really burns) to remove prior gelled nails it weakens the nail. Two of my nails broke within days after. When I went home to Chicago a month ago and receive a gel manicure it lasted over 4weeks and was 10 dollars less I paid at Garage Nail I will not be returning. read more
