They were all arranged by size, so shopping was fairly easy, although I never knew before how far off dress sizes are from swimsuit sizes. I had to try on a couple of things that were just tiny on me before I figured out what size of swimsuit I should have been looking at. I thought the saleslady could have been a little more on the ball with the sizes; she was nice enough, but definitely hands-off when it came to helping me find something. It could have been that she knows few women enjoy swimsuit shopping and decided to hang back unless I sounded a specific cry for help. Anyway, I was left at leisure to try on what I liked. It was nice to just be able to throw the rejects in a bucket in the changeroom, rather than try to figure out how they went back on their hangers. I did eventually narrow the field down to two, but thought it was strange that when I went to pay for the chosen suit, the clerk looked at me and asked, "You know this is the more expensive one? Did you look at the price tag?" Ummm, yes - and I'm taking it, right? Kind of an odd question. Although I'm impressed that she knew the prices on her stock that well. Kind of makes me want to go back and see what other swimwear knowledge is stored up in there.

To say that Victoria's Secret Pink is geared towards the casual girl is an understatement. They mostly sell hoodies, sweatpants, and other clothes that scream comfortable. They've also dived into the workout gear market, and I have friends that swear by their yoga pants. They also have a decent selection of bra's, underwear, and pajamas. I'll give them props on the clothing quality. I've had a few pairs of sweatpants and shorts that have lasted me well over 6 years even after multiple washings. I also really like their t-shirt bra's. Unfortunately, I'm a little underwhelmed by the store up here. I find that the prices are way higher than I've paid for this stuff in the past. I also find that their selection is lacking. I've gone to Victoria's Secret Pink stores in San Francisco and Seattle, and I find that those stores have a way better selection. The staff at this store seem nice enough, but I haven't found anything in the store that I felt like purchasing, even after 4 separate visits. Hopefully the selection improves over the next few months, but right now it's squarely in the "meh" category for me.

I was looking at some items and the lady working on the floor did not even say a word to me, she passed me several times no "Hi, is there anything I can help you with?" Zilch! Nada! Zero! NOTHING!! I would have rather asked the girl at the cash desk because she seemed friendlier but she looked busy so whatever, I felt like the other girl could not be bothered so I just left. The associates at the Coquitlam location seem a lot more approachable. I will continue to shop at that location instead.
