I am sending this review b cause YELP are an organization that are SCUMBAGS AND FULL OF SHIT!!!!!! I left a lengthy reviewing the law firm of Garces, Grabler and LeBrocq but they cried like whining little bitches to the moderators that must be FAKEBOOK sympathizers!!!!!! This lawyer group are full of liars and incompetent hacks. I was directed to them by LegalMatch who now I am suspicious of them as well. I had a case that I wanted to change law firms due poor communication by the one that is handling my present workers compensation case. I know there isn't a ton of money in this segment of the law field but "they" jumped at the post I put on the site. After a brief phone conversation, they couldn't bad mouth the law firm that I had at my previous hearing enough. I am a bug for client/attorney communication and mine just wasn't returning phone calls/voicemail messages so I decided to try a new firm. Tiffany from Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq called me and set up an appointment in my town, so I went but when I saw this office I knew it was a shell office. Tiffany, my wife and I discussed the case and Tiffany claimed to have much better experience with workers compensation (which I knew was BS) so I agreed to have her take over the case. Unfortunately After I signed papers for her to start the process I Hot a call from a party from the firm to come in and sign another ream of forms which could have been done at the first meeting. I responded back to the office after some complications due to an unrelated legal action when I was a municipal police officer but I went back within three weeks. I sat with s receptionist and another supposed lawyer and offered to have them handle two more cases one of another family member. They thanked me; however, never contacted my family member. By the time Tiffany could be gotten in touch with my first attorney open my case again (which was explicitly mentioned during our meeting) which was what I didn't want to happen. This was when I realized Tiffany wasn't going to act quick enough. After twenty plus years of police investigations I decided to check into the attorneys history and low & behold I found that she had worked for the law firm that was presently representing me. This was strange since she never mentioned that. The web site "still" had her working through the previous law firm. When I confronted Tiffany about her position concerning my present attorney, she became obnoxious and claimed to not want my case. I did further investigation and found that her firm was nothing more than a group of ambulance chasers and a poor rating with the BBB of N.J. It is very suspicious how YELP would be so eager to defend a law firm with their horrible practices but this isn't the first time YELP has knocked a review I posted!!!!! read more

Then he required me initially to pay almost $1700.00 which was changed to $1300.00 to have the financials publicly filed which according to the judge should have been filed with the initial public filing . When they moved into an assisted living facility, I thought I would be able to help them from a far. Not so, I learned that two elderly ladies do not really want to talk about their personal needs to a man. I was stuck, too far away to really know if they were getting what they needed. Unforeseen circumstances required I get help. I did not know there was something like Aging Advisors even through I had been researching online about what help there might be. After getting a referral, I finally called them; it was looking like I was really needing some help. I had a long phone conversation with Soni and decided right away that Aging Advisors needed to be on our team. When my stepsister was unexpectedly hospitalized Ruth became the primary contact for me. As a nurse, she was able to translate some of the information I was getting from the hospital and then at rehab she went out and bought my stepsister a proper pair of shoes to help with her physical therapy. I needed to provide a new mattress and bedding for my stepsister for when she returned from rehab. Soni gave me advice and recommendations on what she thought would work which I ordered and had delivered. It was perfect. I looked forward to Ruth's wellness visit updates on their physical and mental wellbeing. Since they would not share any personal information with me the updates were especially important. My stepsister again went to the hospital for what we thought was just a routine checkup, but it was not. Things went south in a hurry and the doctors told me the situation was grim. I asked if they would let her mother make a last visit, it was the height of the Covid-19 issues, and they said yes. I called Ruth, late at night, and asked for her help. Without question, Ruth got to work. She called the facility to have them get my stepmother ready to go out. After picking her up she drove her to the hospital and stayed with her while she said goodbye to her daughter. Back at the facility Ruth called from the car and we both spoke to my stepmother about what to expect. Her daughter died several hours after that and then she died about a month later. Thank you, Ruth, and Soni, your help over the couple of years that you worked with my family is very much appreciated. The help and confidence you gave me, being so far away, was immeasurable.

From the very beginning, everything appeared pleasant enough--smiles, polite tones, reassurances. But once they had secured their fees, the entire demeanor shifted. The courtesy evaporated. What followed was a pattern of condescension, deflection, and outright indifference that never improved. My experience with this firm spans multiple years, not a single isolated incident. I first encountered this behavior over three years ago. Today, due to circumstances beyond my control, I had no choice but to contact them again--and the experience was identical. This is not a fluke, not bad timing, and not a rough period. This is simply how they operate. Simple, basic requests--such as asking for a routine email to be sent--were treated as though they were unreasonable impositions. Communication was strained at every turn. Phone calls were passed from person to person with no accountability. Everyone was a "messenger," no one was responsible, and nothing was ever actually resolved. There was no sense of guidance, advocacy, or professionalism--only a cold, lackadaisical attitude that at times felt almost masochistic in how much friction they seemed determined to inject into even the smallest interactions. At no point did we feel supported, advised, or respected. Most disturbing of all was their complete and total lack of empathy. This firm handled an estate during a period of profound emotional vulnerability. One would expect, at minimum, a baseline of human decency. Instead, beneficiaries were treated as obstacles. There was no compassion, no patience, and no acknowledgment of the emotional weight of the situation--just irritation, detachment, and an air of "not our problem." Repeated attempts to resolve basic matters were met with thinly veiled annoyance. There was no concern for outcomes, no sense that they cared how their actions--or inaction--affected real people. The experience left us feeling dismissed, disrespected, and completely worn down. These are exactly the kinds of lawyers who give the profession a bad name. Cold, dismissive, unresponsive, and utterly devoid of accountability. I am writing this so others do not make the same mistake.

The Yelp reviews are why I contacted this office in the first place. The main reason I did not go with this firm is that a consultation for 30 minutes would cost $99. I am seeking legal help because of debt so I would think that at the minimum, consultation would be free because most if not all of the clientele are seeking help for financial troubles. So just from that consultation fee, I surmised that the cost would be too high for me. It might end up costing me more than my initial debt. I could be wrong but I was not quoted any other fees as I requested. For all I know, the rates could be very reasonable but that is not the impression I got. Update: I increased the rating to 4 stars because Jesse Langel contacted me directly to address my concerns and advise me. I applaud his concern over customer relations and his thoughtfulness in reaching out to me and helping me as much as he could and his promise to continue to advise me if needed. My debt is not very large so the cost effectiveness of hiring Jesse is, unfortunately, probably not in the cards. This is why I can't in good conscience give 5 stars since I won't be able to see his work but I got to see some of his integrity. I do recommend that if you have a need for an attorney, Jesse Langel has at the very least demonstrated that he cares and will be there for you. I think that's an important quality for anyone, to just show up.

I had to find another lawyer to take my case. This was an absolute waste of time, energy and money.

I retained Mr Pontone to help me with an eviction case (the building was being sold)…read more He didn't update me as to status of the case, made court appearance appointments without consulting me, pressured me to take a deal (subsequently deleted the text exchange bc he knew what he was being dodgy, and took a contingency fee when he knew that I would be receiving a settlement (keys for cash) in addition to the retainer (which was subtracted from the settlement). So essentially, I got pretty shoddy service while he got an additional $7K for not very good representation. I do not recommend.

I've gathered a folder of evidence (videos of the unit, saved conversations, and screenshots) showing that I've acted in good faith while the management company hasn't, left the unit in move-in-ready condition, and followed the steps recommended by this firm in the interim -- so I don't expect them to waste their time trying to escalate, but if they do, then I'll certainly give Michael a call as he appears to be someone who cares.
