My dad has gone here for years and raves about Gardner Family Chiropractic. I haven't been to a chiropractor sense I was a girl. But the last few years I've had back and neck pain, headaches every other day, despite no major traumas. I couldn't figure out the cause but knew I needed something different in my life. Ive ordered new pillows, neck hammocks, massagers you name it. But still had headaches and pain. This year with the stress of the pandemic I finally decided to do something about it. GPC allowed me to use a referral from my dad on my initial exam. They were so accommodating with the schedule, so knowledgeable and kind. Dr Ben and Dr Scott were even able to compare my xrays from 2013 to today and came up with a plan to restore my health. All of the staff including Sherry and Kylie are so patient and kind. They all work together to make sure you understand the process and let you know we're on this journey together. For my first adjustment I walked in with a headache and neck cramp, one I hadn't even really noticed I had (because it had become apart of my norm) until the adjustment was complete and I had instant relief! I love that they give you a card to scan in and out for visits. They have a flexible schedule and make sure you get your treatment in a timely manner. I feel safe after the pandemic with social distancing and sanitization after every client. I can see the difference in my body, my attitude and more. I love GFC and will continue to be a patient. Dr. Scott and the girls have been taking care of me since he opened his practice. I went through cancer and a bad car accident, in which I lost my left kidney and broke my ribs. Dr. Scott helped me every step of the way, and still every week, I'm feeling great. I brought my grandson, Matt, in since he was a baby because he was put on an inhaler then. Well, never again has he needed it. He's healthy and at 14 years old he plays ice hockey at Floyd Hall, Montclair State with no problems. My granddaughter, Serena, also started then and she does cheerleading for Clifton. Both are very healthy and see Dr. Scott every 2 weeks. Dr. Gardner is very knowledgable and explains himself in a way that is easy to comprehend. After a bad experience with a previous chiropractic office I was in a desperate need to find somewhere I could go to receive care. Luckily I was recommended to him by a family member and I've been going for about a month now and the results have been amazing. Within 3 visits I began to notice an improvement in the way I slept and the pain in my neck, no pun intended, began to subside. Long time patient of Dr. Gardner. My wife and I go weekly. I appreciate Dr. Gardner's scientific approach, it's not just "crack the back and go". We do X-Rays, he measures the spine alignment with an instrument every few months, takes pictures of the posture, and goes over the results with us and shows us the improvement. He's also helped by adjusting my wrists, legs, and elbows (which none of my previous chiropractors had done). The office is laid back and friendly. Just as a side note - we stayed home for a bit due to COVID-19. Dr. Gardner was the first place I've gone voluntarily since the pandemic started. I had lower back pain likely due to sitting for many years at a computer and also slightly incorrect squat form in the gym. I visited Dr. Gardner and he was extremely thorough in his examination and analysis of my issue and his staff was more than accommodating.
