Gare SNCF de Reims - Cool vending machine sells local honey. Easy and quickly way to purchase a Reims souvenir to take back home (or to consume on the train)!

I recommend arriving early to navigate because it's confusing, especially if you don't speak French. There are elevators if you have ADA needs or are carrying large luggage, which is nice. They're small, though, so build in enough time to wait. They have bathrooms that cost .70 euro per person, so bring change in case you have to pee. Food-wise, pickings are slim. There is a small sit down restaurant, a takeaway pastry stand, and a small store that sells bottles of juice, water, soda, newspapers, phone chargers, and other necessities for the traveler. There are vending machines with snacks and local honey, which makes a great souvenir. The station is a very short walk from the main drag, that has tons of cute bistros and shops and bars. Note that seating is very limited at this station, there are only a few seats for ticketed passengers to wait, so take note if you have issues and need to sit.

There is also a small souvenir shop. Not much seating in the waiting area. There is a small park just across the street and a bus stop, car rental services and tram stop in the parking lot. It's just adjacent to a main city "square"full of shopping and cafes.

Stephane Nancy provided impeccable service throughout our trip. He was highly responsive,…read moreprofessional, and went above and beyond to create a customized Champagne tour that perfectly matched, or exceeded, our expectations. While we booked our own cellar tours, Stephane helped us optimize the itinerary, recommending the best route, timing, and stops to make the most of the day. One of his best suggestions was to visit one cellar in Reims and the other in Épernay rather than staying in a single town. This allowed us to enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque vineyards, visit the iconic Avenue de Champagne, and stop in Hautvillers, the charming village of Dom Pérignon, where we took in stunning views over the Marne Valley and the surrounding vineyards. Those thoughtful recommendations turned an already exciting day into an unforgettable experience. Stephane also recommended several lunch stop options, including Le Bellevue Restaurant & Bar inside the Royal Champagne Hotel in Champillon (which is the one we selected). It was the perfect choice, with exceptional food and sweeping views over the Champagne vineyards--one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The little touches he added before and during our trip made all the difference. He greeted us with fresh croissants to start the day, and after one of our cellar tours, he surprised us with delicious bakery treats for an afternoon pick-me-up. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly well taken care of from start to finish. We were so impressed with Stephane's service that both my friend and I immediately booked him again for our airport departures. His local knowledge, professionalism, reliability, and warmth truly set him apart. If you're looking for an outstanding private driver in Paris or the Champagne region, I can't recommend Stephane, or one of his colleagues, highly enough. He played a huge role in making our trip so special. (As a note, I had Mr. Do for my airport drop off because Stephane was already booked for my friend who had to leave earlier than me for the airport. Both of us appreciated the extra guidance both drivers provided to take us into the departure terminal, guide us to the self-service VAT (Value Added Tax) refund kiosks to get us on our way!)

Most people don't consider how expensive it is to get transportation from the airport to your hotel…read moreand vice versa. Thankfully, I found out about SIT BUS Shuttle and was able to pay a very very good price round trip from airport to hotel and hotel to airport. Their website has all the information and although has some English, you really have to pay attention and make sure you understand everything. I printed my passes and when we landed, unfortunately the passes didn't have any indication where the station was in the airport. With no free wifi at FCO I'm glad someone helped me find the station. It is on their website, but if you rely solely on your print out, it will not be there, so make sure you keep some kind of record of it if you can't get online at the airport. Basically its where all the shuttles line up at, over in Terminal 1 if I recall. There is a staff member there if you have questions, and spoke English. The bus is clean and spacious. There is plenty of room for luggage--even big checked luggage. They will transport that too included in the price you pay which is great. The ride was smooth and the cabin kept cool with AC. The only problem? The advertised WIFI never worked. Both times to the hotel, and back to the airport. Yes we were able to connect to the access point, but there was no actual internet connection. That is the ONLY reason I deducted a star, but I would use them again without hesitation, but I hope the internet not working was just a fluke, although happened (or in this case didn't happen) on 2 separate occasions spanning 4 days apart.
