This is a nice Restaurant near the Beach. Albeit the Italian name, it seemed to be run by locals.
After perusing the menu card, I chose to take the steak fillet which came with an assortment of red and green peppers. I ordered a pepper sauce to accompany the fillet and as side dish potatoes in paisley and garlic. To go with the meat, I chose to have a glass of rosé and a bottle of natural water.
The waiter brought the water and filled the glass of rosé. If was a glass which was plenty enough for the whole meal. Not like in other restaurants where you basically have to order a second glass to finish your meal.
When the meat arrived, it was cooked medium as I ordered. The meat was tender and tasted so good together with the pepper sauce that I cut each piece of it in tiny pieces to extend the pleasures.
The potatoes were a delight. Crispy and the garlic made them just a dimension better. By far the best potatoes I ate since a while.
I finished with a dessert, choosing the rice pudding with raisins. And a glass of Amaretto di Saronno. (Again plenty of)
All in all the whole meal cost me around 55€.
Sure a bit more expensive than your ordinary restaurant you can find in Playa de las Americas. But all worth it. read more
