We have complained many times to the park management and have been treated disgustingly by them. We eventually complained to their Head Office in PA, only to be told by a Senior Manager, Tim Eubanks, that if we weren't happy we could always dig up our grandson and move him to another cemetery. We were disgusted beyond belief by his remark, his answer to our concerns was to have us put our family through that hell again and bury our Grandson all over again. It seems they simply do not care about anything once they have the money for the plots. The park is in a disgraceful condition, the lawns, especially around our Grandson are patchy beds of weeds and sand.

The day we went to the funeral home to make the arrangements, we meet with someone different. He started telling us, the things he couldn't do, versus, looking for how to make this easier. If my husband and I hadn't already been through the death of 3 of our parents, we may well, have just sucked it up. The guy stated, he didn't think he could get the military funeral detail, because it was a weekend, and wouldn't be able to talk to anyone, until Monday. My husband a 22 year veteran straightened that out in a short order. Then he said he didn't think he could get the grave dug, by Monday, because it was Saturday. The obituary wouldn't be run because it was Saturday. Needless to say, we were upset, and then to have this person, tell us what he couldn't do, instead of trying to look for ways to help us, really frosted our cookies. Now, let's talk about their fees. Astronomical! $9500.00! We didn't even have a viewing, or a car. They transported my father in law from his home to the funeral home, and to the graveside. No elaborate casket, and his vault was very nice and no charge, as he worked for a long time for the vault company. Poof, $9500.00! Highway robbery. We buried my sweet mama in an city, and she had all the bells and whistles even a solid cherry casket, and a vault, viewing and service, and we still came in for $6100.00. If your looking for some peace and comfort in your time of sadness, the guy who helped us, isn't it. You'll do better to go to Crumpler Honeycutt.

Raleigh was on top of the logistics, follow-up, and very kind. The younger guy with long hair seemed to have all the right answers. I appreciated the transparency in pricing, soft human touch, & simplicity. Rouse, thank you for taking care of my father!!! (Note: Prior to visiting Rouse, I stopped a different funeral home and the experience was night-and-day in comparison to Rouse. The other funeral home had zero empathy/ emotional intelligence, and they wanted to charge me 2x what Rouse charged.)

We paid for the headstone in full by mid-February but did not receive the headstone until September! During this time, we received no phone calls with updates. We had to keep calling them and kept getting met with excuses. Even still, we were patient because we knew that COVID effected a lot of businesses. When they finally did place the headstone, it was facing backwards and incomplete. We once again had to call to let them know about their mistake. Fast forward to November, they JUST finally placed the picture on the headstone to complete it. At this point we're very upset because this whole process was just so unnecessarily frustrating. They didn't even offer to compensate us for the time they wasted. We had to ask and the only thing that was offered was that they would reimburse for half of the cost of the picture. I would never recommend to place to anyone. Horrible customer service.

He was cremated here but we were planning on a Memorial Service in Four Oaks. The coordination between the home we used in DE cremation and R&G was so non stressful in a very stressful time for our family. Justin is who we dealt with primarily. He was very compassionate and professional. Pastor Eddie did the service and he did a wonderful job. He took his time meeting with the family to find out information about my dad. He incorporated all of our wishes. He shared the gospel of Christ. As a family, we feel incredibly grateful and blessed that the life of our husband and father was treated with so much respect. We are grateful and blessed with how our family was treated.
